The "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" initiative has promoted all-round cooperation between China and the countries along the route in the fields of marine transportation, port construction, etc. In the context initiative,in order to explore the distribution pattern and characteristics of cargo flow in the maritime network along China and the "Maritime Silk Road",This paper discusses and analyzes the container, tanker and bulk carrier shipping networks from the port and regional levels. The details are as follows:(1)This paper firstly constructs the topological structure of container, tanker and bulk carrier shipping network based on the complex network theory.Analysis of the centrality of the topological structure of the marine network through the statistical indicators of the complex network. The results show that the cargo flow of container, tanker and bulk carrier is unevenly distributed, and there are regional agglomeration phenomena.According to the comprehensive central index of the port,it is found that Keppel Harbor,Shanghai port,Jurong Island port,Zhoushan port,Basheng port,Holfikan port,Pulaucom port,Shilonggang port and Alhersilas port have the highest central topological structure and are the highest level in the maritime network.(2)Using to significant flow and Herfindahl-Hirschman index further analyze the mode of port cargo flow framework and concentration levels of regional cargo flow in the container, tanker and bulk carrier shipping network. The results show that there are differences in the concentration degree of import and export cargo flows in the container, crude oil and bulk transportation network. In the container transportation network, the concentration degree of cargo flows between China and South Asia is the highest; In the crude oil transportation network, the concentration degree of cargo flows between China and West Asia is the highest; In the bulk transportation network, the concentration degree of cargo flows between China and South Africa is the highest. The concentration is relatively high in each shipping region, while the concentration of cargo flow in corresponding China region is relatively low,and the concentration of export in container transportation network is higher than that of import;while the concentration of import in bulk transportation network is higher than that of export.(3)In the maritime communication between China and the "Maritime Silk Road" Zhoushan Port is the leader of the Chinese port, and the most cargo flow with the "Maritime Silk Road" port.According to the vulnerability of regional port distribution,it is found that although there are freight flows between China and most ports along the maritime Silk Road Contact, but mainly rely on a few core ports in the eight regions, and China’s Zhoushan port,Jingtang Port,Shanghai port,Hong Kong port, etc. In general, the distribution vulnerability of crude oil transportation network is the highest, while that of dry bulk transportation network is the lowest. The results of the study, combined with the maritime Silk Road policy, are of great significance for the management, planning and emergency preparedness of the maritime network along the maritime Silk Road in China.
