The proposal and implementation of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" initiative has brought new vitality to the ancient maritime Silk Road, brought closer ties between Asian,European and African countries in new forms, and brought trade cooperation to a new historical height. In this context, maritime transport plays an increasingly important role in international trade cooperation. As an important way of marine transportation, dry bulk transportation data is difficult to obtain.Only a few scholars can study the characteristics and spatial distribution pattern of dry bulk transportation network. Therefore, this paper uses the AIS trajectory data of dry bulk to explore the spatial contact pattern of dry bulk trade network of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road,it is significant to the planning and construction of the port and the formulation and implementation of the national dry bulk trade policy.Firstly, the OD data is extracted from the AIS data of dry bulk cargo, and the topological network diagram of dry bulk cargo trade is constructed.Based on the complex network index, the scale-free,small world and central characteristics of the network are explored. Then, for the first time, the assortative coefficient method in physics is introduced into the dry bulk trade network. From the perspectives of multi-scale(port and country)and multi-dimensional(node,link and network)structure, the overall trade connection tendency between ports and countries is explored, and the trade rule of dry bulk goods is revealed. Finally, the local assortativity is introduced to measure the position of each port node to make suggestions for the development of ports. The results show that:1)"21st century Maritime Silk Road" dry bulk trade network has scale-free and small world characteristics.Through the central analysis,it is found that Singapore’s ports of Keppel and Serangoon,China’s ports of Shanghai,Taicang,Zhoushan and Tianjin,Australia’s port of Newcastle and Turkey’s port of Istanbul play a pivotal role;2)"21 st century Maritime Silk Road" dry bulk trade network is an assortative network, and with the increase of spatial scale, the degree of assortativiness is also increasing, and the trade becomes more and more smooth; In the dry bulk trade cooperation, the port tends to export the dry bulk to the port with broad market, while the country tends to export the dry bulk to the country with strong demand;3)In the Maritime Silk Road dry bulk trade,Southeast Asia and the East Ports in North Asia have played a significant role in transit and hub and each port contributes to the same trade network in different degrees,so its position is different.A port with a high out-degree may not have a high status, and a port with a low out-degree may not have a low status.
