In recent years,with the acceleration of China’s new urbanization process,the contradiction between urban housing demand and supply has become increasingly prominent,and affordable housing has played an increasingly important role in solving urban low-income families.In order to protect the housing conditions of the middle and low income groups,local governments have planned and built a large number of affordable housing.At the same time,the issue of affordable housing has emerged in an endless stream and has been frequently exposed by the media.The quality of construction of affordable housing directly affects the living of residents.The problems of construction quality bring serious losses to people’s lives and property,and must be paid attention to.Therefore,this thesis takes X affordable housing in Xiamen as the research object,and implements Six Sigma quality management method to find reproducible quality management experience for continuous improvement of project quality.This thesis takes X affordable housing project in Xiamen as the background of the topic,analyzes the present situation of its quality management,and conducts an in-depth research on the problem of high defect rate of cast-in-place concrete members in the construction stage of the main structure of the first phase of the project.Aiming at the quality management characteristics of X affordable housing project in Xiamen,this thesis using Six Sigma management theory method,according to the five stages of DMAIC of Six Sigma method,study on how to reduce the defect rate of cast-in-place concrete members in the construction stage of the main structure of the second phase project and improve the forming quality of concrete members.Through the record of the defects of the completed project,this thesis collects and statistics data,identify the key factors affecting the defect rate of cast-in-place concrete members,and puts forward the corresponding improvement plan and management strategy,the expected results are achieved after the implementation of the plan,establishes a quality management mechanism for continuous improvement.The conclusions of this thesis will provide ideas for strengthening quality management for the construction of other engineering projects,and play a certain reference role in quality management.
