Research On The Modern Application And Carving Patterns Of Traditional Houses In Jinzhong Area

In Jinzhong Area of Shanxi Province,there are many kinds of carving art,and the level of carving art is very high.The carving patterns have obvious local characteristics and rich life atmosphere,which is of great significance to modern folk houses and landscape design.This paper makes a systematic study on the courtyard carving patterns in the traditional folk houses in Jinzhong Area,focusing on the analysis of the categories,implications and application scenarios of the carving patterns,and abstracts the design language of the carving patterns in the traditional villages in Jinzhong Area,and probes into the applicable ways in the modern folk houses and landscape design.On the basis of combing the current situation of the carving art of traditional folk houses in Jinzhong Area,the well preserved traditional villages(Hougou village in Yuci,Gulian village in Qi County,Pingyao Liang Village)and Jinshang courtyards(Changjia manor in Yuci,Qiaojia courtyard in Qi county and lingshiwangjia courtyard in Ling county)were selected for field investigation,and the materials of the patterns were obtained and analyzed comprehensively In order to realize the modern application of the traditional folk house carving patterns in Jinzhong Area,the design language of carving patterns is abstractly summarized and applied to the modern residential and landscape design.This paper focuses on the carving patterns of traditional houses in Jinzhong Area,aiming to explore more specific and systematic modern application ways.The research object of this paper is three well-known Jinshang courtyards and three ordinary rural houses.These research objects include all typical examples in Jinzhong Area.Because of the long history of Shanxi merchants,and relying on family blood,the courtyard presents centralized,and the common traditional village houses are also influenced by Shanxi Merchants culture to some extent,paying attention to aesthetic taste in the courtyard design process.Therefore,through in-depth field research on sculpture patterns,and combing the patterns according to the actual situation,mining the implied meaning behind the sculpture patterns and the deep meaning of Shanxi Merchants culture and RE development and utilization,it has an important reference significance for the use of modern residential and landscape design.
