With the improvement of people’s requirements on building indoor environment quality and thermal comfort, people are paying more attention to the indoor environment evaluation of thermal sensation and comfort.Current well known thermal comfort standards such as ASHRAE-55 and IS0 7730 are based on the experimental results to the youth in America and Europe. And they may not applicable to Chinese. Therefore, the Chinese Evaluation Standard for the indoor thermal environment which is the newest standard in China has already added an important adaptive coefficient(λ)that was calculated by field research in our country to evaluate the non air condition and heating buildings. The coefficient considering thermal adaptation establishes the relationship between human actual thermal sensation and predict thermal sensation.Thermal adaptation has important influence on thermal comfort in built environment, and adaptive coefficient(λ)quantifies this factor. Thus it is crucial to the evalution result. The coefficients divided by thermal partitions and PMV didn’t consider the effect of different factors such as regional, season, environmental parameters and so on.Besides,it may lead to a wrong result. In order to solve the above problems, the systemic thermal comfort field studies were carried out in this thesis.Impacts of regional, season, environmental control(only temperature and humidity this thesis)on thermal adaptation were analyzed, while the corresponding adaptive coefficient(λ)were calculated and then some proposals for the standard were put forward. The work was as follows:Firstly, according to the data analyze and the calculating value of adaptive coefficient(λ)in different areas in both cool(PMV<0)and warm(PMV ≥ 0)conditions.It was found that human’s adaptation levels are different from different areas,so adaptive coefficient(λ)in standard should be divided by areas.Secondly, there are significant climate differences in servere cold and cold areas in four sesons, according to the data analyze and the calculating value of adaptive coefficient(λ)in different sesons in four citis of cold area, the results show that human’s adaptation levels are different from different sesons. Therefore adaptive coefficient(λ)in standard should be divided by sesons in servere cold and cold areas.Thirdly, hot summer and cold winter area and hot summer and warm winter area are effected by high humidity, indoor environment were separated into different conditions by indoor air temperature and relative humidity.According to the data analyze and the calculating value of adaptive coefficient(λ)in different conditions in Guangzhou,it was found that human’s adaptation levels are different from different conditions. Thus adaptive coefficient(λ)in standard should be divided by different indoor temperature and humidity conditions. Finally, put forward recommended values according to the above classigication method. The research results can help find the existing problems of indoor thermal environment evaluation standard and provide the references for further improvement of the standard.
