| Ultrasonic testing(UT)is one of the five methods of non-destructive testing(NDT).It has many advantages,such as longer detection depth,high-precision,wide detecting field,easy to operate and no harm to human.At present,most of domestic ultrasonic flaw detector are traditional intelligent instruments.The hardwares are the core units of these instruments.They have high prices,long development time and a few immutable features.Also,these instruments are difficult to upgrade and maintenance.Based on the implemented data acquisition card of virtual instrument,this paper developed an ultrasonic testing virtual instrument system which use PC as the hardware platform.Visual Studio 2013 and Measurement Studio 2015 are used as software development environments to complete the functions such as human-machine interface,data acquisition card controling,ultrasonic detection and real-time displaying of echo waveform.After the testing,the performance index of the ultrasonic flaw detecting virtual instrument have reached the national standard.Due to the use of a personal computer,the cost of virtual instrument is greatly reduced.Measurement Studio has a large number of virtual instrument controls.Windows OS has a wealth of software functions.We can make software development of virtual instrument more easily with them.Because modular design method is used in this project,the virtual instrument can be much easier to upgrade. |
