High-quality development is related to the overall situation of China’s socialist modernization and requires the coordination and unification of the entire social system based on a profound understanding of the changes in the main contradictions of Chinese society.Only by integrating the Economy-Technology-Environment-Society System into the same theoretical framework can the complex systems in the context of high-quality development be explored comprehensively and comprehensively,and the unbalanced and insufficient problems in the high-quality development of regions be inspected.Based on the coupling mechanism of the system of high-quality development,a quadratic coupling and coordination evaluation system of high-quality development is constructed to explore the Spatio temporal distribution pattern of the coupling and coordination of high-quality development in 31 provinces(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan)in China from2001 to 2019,and the spatial auto-correlation model,standard deviation ellipse model and center of gravity shift model both used to explore the spatial temporal evolution characteristics of high-quality development in depth,and the barrier degree model and spatial Durbin model are further used to identify the internal and external factors of the coupling and coordination of high-quality development,aiming at promote the sustainable and coordinated promotion of high-quality development in all regions of China.The results show that:(1)In terms of development index,from 2001 to 2019,31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions of China’s high-quality development index generally showed a stable type of development,but the polarization was serious,and the development index of eastern provinces and cities was better;the development index of high-quality development economic,scientific and technological,environmental and social subsystems all achieved steady improvement,among which the growth changes of the two subsystems of economy and science and technology were the most prominent.(2)From the perspective of coupling coordination,the coupling coordination of China’s quadratic system of economic,science and technology,environment and society for high quality development has been improving during the study period but has not achieved high quality coordination;the coupling coordination decreases spatially in a gradient from the eastern coast to the central and western regions,and the provinces with strong coordination of high quality development are mainly concentrated in the eastern region.(3)From the analysis of influencing factors,the coupling coordination of high-quality development is mainly restricted by the economic and scientific,and technological subsystems,among which opening to the outside world,output effectiveness,environmental carrying capacity,and infrastructure are the main influencing factors within the system;In addition,external factors such as the degree of government intervention,population density,and labor quality level have a significant impact on regional high-quality development.Therefore,according to the difference in the level of coordination of the coupling of the quadruple system of Economy-Technology-Environment-Society System for high-quality development,because of the unbalanced and insufficient regional economic development,we should innovate systematic ideas for high-quality development,cultivate new dynamic energy for high-quality development,deepen regional cooperation and development,and effectively promote regional high-quality development in a coordinated manner. |
