Because rubber is widely used in daily work,production and life,and rubber additives can improve various properties of rubber,its development is closely related to all walks of life in China,especially the automobile tire manufacturing industry.With the increasing requirements of environmental protection,the auxiliary industry is developing towards high efficiency and green.Nowadays,the competition among rubber additives enterprises has risen from the original competition between enterprises to the competition between supply chains.In order to achieve market breakthrough in the increasingly fierce market competition,many enterprises turn their eyes to the selection and management of upstream suppliers.How to evaluate suppliers scientifically and comprehensively and select strategic suppliers suitable for their own development has become a prominent problem faced by enterprises.As the backbone enterprise of China’s rubber additives industry,enterprise A is not only the vice chairman unit of the rubber additives professional committee of China Rubber Industry Association,but also the fourth batch of national "green factory" enterprises.Enterprise A adheres to the purpose of "serving the world rubber industry",adheres to the business philosophy of "science and technology,green",actively promotes the green environmental protection process of rubber additives,and adheres to the sustainable development of rubber additives production.Therefore,choosing enterprise A as a case study is of typical significance.With the development of environmental protection supervision,enterprise A has been continuously transformed and upgraded,which not only puts forward higher requirements for the products produced by enterprise A,but also puts forward higher requirements for the supply quality and service of enterprise A’s suppliers.In this process,it also exposes the problems existing in the selection and evaluation of suppliers.These problems mainly include: first,the supply quality and service of suppliers are uneven;Second,suppliers’ supply is unstable under the pressure of environmental protection and policies;Third,it is difficult to evaluate homogeneous suppliers.The reasons are mainly from three aspects: first,there is no unified comprehensive evaluation index system;Second,the impact of external environment on suppliers was not considered in the original evaluation;Third,the development capability of suppliers was not considered in the original evaluation.Research shows that selecting reliable and high-quality suppliers can improve the performance of the whole supply chain and ensure the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.Therefore,based on the problems existing in the supplier selection and evaluation of enterprise A,using the theory of corporate social responsibility,stakeholder theory and supplier evaluation theory,combined with the summary and analysis of relevant literature,a new supplier evaluation system is established to improve the supplier evaluation index and evaluation model.In the design of evaluation index,the following factors are mainly considered: first,quality,including product stability,continuous product improvement and quality control system;Second,cost,including price competitiveness,cost transparency and logistics cost;Third,service capability,including on-time delivery,service flexibility and after-sales service;Fourth,development capacity,including core competitiveness,policy planning fit,management level,management flexibility,innovation ability and strategic cooperation potential.In the design of evaluation model,analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the index weight,and model comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the supplier grade.At the same time,taking one of the suppliers of enterprise A as a case,the evaluation calculus is carried out,and the effectiveness of the evaluation system is verified by analyzing the evaluation results.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the supplier evaluation system of company A,the company also needs to establish and improve the guarantee mechanism from three aspects: internal system guarantee,supplier training guarantee,team and personnel guarantee.Enterprise supplier management is a complex system engineering,and the selection and evaluation of suppliers is only one of them.To do a good job in the selection and evaluation of suppliers,it is necessary to use scientific methods to conduct a comprehensive and standardized evaluation of suppliers,but any evaluation system is not invariable.With the progress of the times and the upgrading of related industries,the evaluation system of suppliers in rubber additives industry will continue to introduce new indicators to meet the requirements of the new era.This requires enterprises to always maintain self sustainable improvement,implement dynamic management of the current supplier evaluation mechanism and indicators,and modify and adjust them at any time according to the changes of internal and external factors.It is believed that "supplier selection and evaluation" will make great progress in both theoretical research and practical exploration.
