The main content of this paper is to carry out a systematic study on the current inventory status of T company,focusing on the research on the inventory of raw materials.Raw material inventory is an important current asset of an enterprise,which reflects the operation of the enterprise.Scientific management of raw material inventory is particularly critical.This paper hopes that through the analysis of raw material management strategy and the research of management system,it can make the management of raw material inventory scientific and standardized,improve the level of raw material inventory management.Finally,the optimal solution was found for the raw material inventory of T company,so as to reduce the inventory pressure of the enterprise and reduce the occupation of working capital.Based on the raw material inventory data of T Company in recent years,the main management problems at present are as follows: the unreasonable raw material inventory setting caused by the lack of scientific demand forecast.Raw material inventory management strategy is simple,using a simple one-size-fits-all management mode.The company’s support systems for raw material inventory management are not in place,enterprise resource planning system is one of them.Raw material inventory target is not clear,KPI key indicators and implementation plan are not established.The actual results from the above problems of raw material inventory management are high occupancy of raw material inventory funds,low turnover rate,high proportion of sluggish raw material inventory,and large difference in accounting and reality.Aiming at the problem points of raw material inventory management,the total solution is to improve the accuracy of sales forecast,to reduce the amount of invalid raw material inventory,reduce the proportion of capital occupied by the company and to provide a guarantee basis for the optimization of raw material inventory management strategy from the source.ABC classification is used to distinguish and manage the important attribu tes of raw material inventory,so as to make scientific management of raw material inventory.Different inventory strategies are used on different kinds of raw materials.Total are three ways.Reordering point and regular ordering are successively used to fully demonstrate the management methods under the inventory management strategy.Establish the raw material inventory management system,from the organizational awareness to the actual operation level,constantly improve the management level.
