Reserch On Optimization Of Spare Parts Inventory Management Of AY Company

With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards and the rapid development of supply chain management,people continue to pursue the simplicity,efficiency and minimization of supply chain.In this case,inventory management,as the main factor affecting the supply chain,plays an important role and plays a decisive role.For enterprises,the object of concern is no longer simply their own traditional management,but to the inventory of the entire supply chain as the main object,the implementation of extended control management.For the modern environment of the Internet of Things supply chain,inventory is no longer a temporary unnecessary reserve resource in the traditional sense,its existence ensures that suppliers and enterprises can collaborate without obstacles.Therefore,to a large extent,the accuracy of inventory can be improved,and the proportion of funds occupied by inventory can be reduced.Therefore,in order to effectively control the inventory,the fundamental thing is to manage the business workflow of the enterprise,and it is no longer simply to manage the materials.AY is a private listed company,which mainly produces and manages textile raw materials.Over the years,due to the rapid technological update and the continuous improvement of single-line production capacity over the years,the backlog of spare parts inventory has seriously affected the company’s production and operation.Through the consideration and analysis of spare parts inventory status and inventory management problems and methods,through questionnaires to collect problems,using fishbone diagram analysis method to analyze the causes of the problems.The two-dimensional ABC classification method is used to classify spare parts.The spare parts are classified according to their value and importance.The key parts inventory management method and vendor managed inventory(VMI)are used for different classifications.The company has gradually completed the transformation of VMI model from traditional model to new supply chain inventory management in inventory control.Through the analysis and solution of the high idle problem in AY enterprises,this paper provides corresponding solutions for other enterprises of the same type,and makes their inventory management rationalized.This article mainly elaborates on the following aspects: Firstly,it introduces the background of inventory management and elaborates its practical significance.Then it summarizes the current situation of spare parts inventory management research at home and abroad,focusing on solving the problem of spare parts inventory backlog.Secondly,it elaborates the related theory of inventory management and several main models and methods of spare parts inventory management,which provides theoretical basis and support for the analysis of problems.This paper explains the current situation of spare parts inventory in AY company through questionnaire survey and fishbone analysis,and explains the necessity of implementing spare parts inventory optimization.Then the management optimization strategy of spare parts inventory is put forward.Finally,the research work of this paper is summarized and the future research of VMI is prospected.
