Research On Impact Of Risk Perception And Emotion On Construction Workers’ Emergency Behavior

Construction projects are characterized by long construction periods and complex construction techniques.Due to these unique characteristics,construction workers face many risks in the actual operation process and construction safety accidents occur frequently.Sudden safety accidents at a construction company usually cause a series of chain reactions.When construction workers take improper emergency measures,they not only directly threaten their lives and safety,but also delay the construction period,causing enormous economic losses and social costs.Therefore,it is especially important to study the behavior of construction workers in emergencies.However,the existing researches mainly focus on the safety behavior of employees,and there are few studies on the emergency behavior of employees.If we can deeply understand the emotions of construction workers and the degree of risk perception in emergency situations,understand the relationship between risk perception and emotions and their impact on emergency behavior,and take corresponding measures to improve the level of emergency behavior of construction workers.Plays an important role in the improvement of emergency management of construction enterprises.Based on the risk perception emotion model and the SOR theoretical model,this paper uses the emergency awareness of construction workers as an intermediary variable to futher explore the impact of risk perception and emotions on the emergency behavior of construction workers;secondly,collect survey data using questionnaires,and With the help of statistical analysis software SPSS22.0,the formal questionnaire was tested;finally,the theoretical model of the impact of risk perception and emotion on construction workers’ emergency behavior was verified through structural equation model and Bootstrap method.The empirical analysis shows:(1)The risk percention and emotion of construction workers have a signidicant positive influence on each other.(2)The risk perception and emotion of construction workers have a significant positive impact on the three dimensions of their emergency behavior.Among them,risk perception has a greater impact on emergency behavior.(3)The emergency awareness of construction workers not only positively affects their emergency behavior,but also plays an active intermediary role in the positive influence of risk perception and emotion on emergency behavior.(4)In-depth research has found that the mediating effects of the three dimensions of emergency awareness are somewhat different.The specific performance is:emergency perception awareness and emergency cognition awareness have significant mediating effects between the three dimensions of risk perception and emergency behavior,while emergency trust awareness the mediating effect of trust awareness on the three dimensions of emergency behavior is not significant;emergency perception awareness plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between emotion and emergency behavior in the three dimensions,the emergency cognition awareness plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between emotions and altruistic behaviors and normal asylum behaviors,but it does not significantly mediate panic behaviors.and the emergency trust awareness plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between emotions and panic behaviors,but it does not significantly mediate altruistic behaviors and normal asylum behaviors.This article effectively integrates the mediating role of emergency awareness in the process of risk perception and emotions affecting emergency behaviors,clarifies the impact of construction workers’risk perception,emotions and emergency awareness on emergency behaviors,and provides management of emergency behaviors for construction enterprise employees.It provides a theoretical basis to help construction companies improve their emergency management capabilities and effectively prevent emergencies.
