Prefabricated construction,being the primary mode of China’s upgrade transformation of the construction industry,had attracted tremendous attention from industry professionals and scholars.Relatively speaking,prefab construction was still in its early stages in China,and its development and management systems were weak and limited by many factors,thus a scientific approach of safety management would be the premise and foundation of the development of prefabrication building.At present,the research focus was the identification and control of safety risks at the construction site,and from the perspective of the general contracting enterprises that undertook the prefabrication construction projects,it was needed to further investigate in the overall safety risk identifications and their countermeasures.Therefore,it was necessary for general contractors to conduct research to accurately determine the safety risk factors of prefabrication construction and take corresponding countermeasures.This thesis is based on the perspective of safety risk management of prefabrication construction.Through history research,interviews and surveys with different responsible groups that had abundant prefabrication construction experiences,this thesis concluded that a total of 45 safety risk factors should need attention at different stages of the prefab construction projects from the perspective of general contracting firms,and this established the safety risk identification index system for prefabrication construction.Analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was then applied to categorize data and sorted out the 10 pivotal safety risk factors for prevention and control including safety guarantee of prefab building structures,safety during hoisting and installation of components,and safety input level.On this basis and with expert consultation,the safety risk factors went through relational grade scoring.Through the objective analysis of the entropy weight method and the comprehensive evaluation of weight value,a ranking according to the importance degree was formed.It was discovered that four factors including general contractor’s ability to resist sudden natural disasters,completion degree of general contractor’s safety management system,and the technical capabilities of the construction workers to realize the designer’s intention were the ones that needed further attention and that 14 key safety risk factors related to prefabrication construction were verified.This provided certain theoretical basis for general contractors to improve the accuracy of safety management evaluation.According to the identified safety risk factors,this thesis proposed targeted countermeasures for the general contractors in four aspects,namely,multi-party cooperation,communication enhancement,management optimization and regulation enforcement.With safety risk factors identification and countermeasures of prefabrication construction as a starting point,the results were concise and intuitive.This thesis proposed multiple practical suggestions and countermeasures in four main areas: safety of prefabrication construction structures,safe production and transportation of prefabricated parts,safety management system of general contractors and on-site safety management.The research results,on a certain level,ameliorated the theoretical contents and provided theoretical support and reference basis for general contractors handling the safety risk management and corresponding countermeasures of prefabrication construction.
