As the economy is entering a new era of development,the operation mode of state-owned enterprises is becoming more and more market-oriented.To face the fierce competition in the market environment,how to optimize the enterprise incentive mechanism,boost the confidence of the staff,improve the enthusiasm of the staff and help the enterprise going through the severe winter of economy is very important for the survival of the enterprise.Since forth quarter of 2018,DF Company,as a state-owned new chemical material company,is suffering the most severe operating pressure since the company established due to the impact of changes in domestic and international economic environment.Sharp decreasing in profits,insufficient confidence in its staff and losing of core technical personnel.So the key to improve the company’s performance is how to increase employees’ confidence and inspire their passion for job.This article is based on maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and take DF company’s employees as the research object.By individual interview,questionnaire survey and other methods to investigate on the current situation of incentive of DF company employees and analyzed the main problem,and further empirically investigated the important degree and satisfaction degree of 20 needs in five hierarchy of needs of DF company employees.The results of statistical analysis show that there are many difference in the important degree and satisfaction degree evaluation of DF company employees’ needs in five hierarchy of needs,from high to low as:the physiological needs and self-actualization needs,security needs,social needs,self-esteem needs.This ranking result is not consistent with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,which indicates that maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory needs to be modified according to the characteristics of enterprises in practice.Different individual characteristics of each employee needs,thus obtained the five core needs hierarchy of needs and the seven key staff individual portraits,analyzed the individual different characteristics of employees on the hierarchy of needs.It shows that the promotion of employee incentive effect must pay attention to individual differences in order to make the best effect of incentive measures;According to the quadripartite graph theory,the staff 20 needs in five hierarchy of DF company were classified in four classes which are high satisfaction,low satisfaction high important,low satisfaction low,high satisfaction low important,Combined with the seven identified key needs,the 20 needs were finally divided into three levels: core needs,important needs and general needs,then the hierarchy of needs incentive model for DF employees is constructed.Based on the hierarchical incentive model of employees’ needs,five core optimization measures,two important optimization measures and general optimization measures are proposed to comprehensively improve the overall incentive effect of DF company’s incentive system to improve employees’ work enthusiasm and effectively stimulate their passion for work.
