| Since the reform and opening up,China has achieved substantial economic growth at a rapid rate of development, but at the same time it has also brought serious environmental pollution problems. In this regard,in order to coordinate economic growth and environmental pollution issues, and form a new pattern of modernization with the harmonious development of man and nature,China must change the extensive development model and achieve high-quality development with green development as the core concept. The Yangtze River Delta,as one of the regions with a relatively high level of economic development in China,is also facing severe ecological system imbalances in the process of rapid economic development.Improving the level of urban green development is the key to higher-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta. As an important means of promoting the green transformation and upgrading of regional development, technological innovation is the key to the coordinated development of economy, society and ecology.Environmental regulations,as the government’s means of restraining environmental pollution, play an important role in promoting green development. Therefore,it has very important theoretical and practical significance to study how environmental regulations and technological innovation can promote the transformation of the development model of the Yangtze River Delta and improve the level of regional green development.Based on subject-related theories and related literature research at home and abroad, this paper uses panel data from 41 prefecture-level and above cities in the Yangtze River Delta from2009 to 2018 to conduct a systematic study.First, measure and analyze the level of green development in each city, and use Arc GIS,Geo Da and other software to conduct visual analysis to explore its spatial characteristics;second, use Stata16 software to further clarify the relationship between environmental regulation, technological innovation and the green development of the Yangtze River Delta through the measurement model.Relationship.Finally,based on the research results, relevant policy recommendations are put forward. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: First, the overall green development of the Yangtze River Delta and the development level of economic, social and ecological subsystems in the Yangtze River Delta showed an upward trend during the research period, but the regional differences were large.Second, through the global spatial correlation test,it is found that there is a positive spatial autocorrelation in the green development level of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta, which has a significant agglomeration effect.Third, there is a positive correlation between technological innovation and the level of green development in the Yangtze River Delta.Technological innovation mainly promotes the improvement of the overall green development level of the Yangtze River Delta by promoting economic greening, social greening and ecological greening. At the same time, technological innovation has a spatial effect on urban green development.Technological innovation can promote the improvement of the local green development level, but it has a restraining effect on the green development of surrounding areas.Fourth, when environmental regulations are introduced, environmental regulations can promote the improvement of the level of green development in the Yangtze River Delta, and the synergy of technological innovation and environmental regulations can better promote the improvement of local green development levels, and also promote the green development of surrounding areas effect.Based on the above research findings, this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions: First, strengthen the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and promote the integration of green development;second, enhance technological innovation capabilities, and strengthen innovation to drive urban green development;third, increase the intensity of environmental regulation, strengthen the synergy of environmental regulations and technological innovation;fourth, take multiple measures to promote the green development of the Yangtze River Delta. |
