Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is one of the most special regions of China’s administrative divisions.It is composed of two provincial units,including the autonomous region and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(XPCC).The two different systems are governed separately in a certain way.The XPCC manages its own administrative and judicial affairs within its jurisdiction.The coordinated development of the XPCC and the local is the most fundamental way to solve the problem of realizing the modernization of regional governance in Xinjiang.This study took Urumqi,Wujiaqu and Changji as the study areas,using GIS spatial analysis methods to analyze the spatial pattern distribution characteristics,area change characteristics,transfer characteristics,and spatio-temporal change center of gravity in the study area of production-living-ecological.Establishing theproduction-livingecological function evaluation index system and analyze the development level of the production-living-ecological function in the study area.With the help of the symbiotic model to measure the symbiotic development mode of Wujiaqu City,Urumqi City and Changji City in terms of the production function,living function,ecological function and production-living-ecological comprehensive function.Summarizing the existing problems in the coordinated development of XPCC and local cities through the characteristics of the production-living-ecological spatial pattern and the symbiotic development model of XPCC and local cities.According to the integrated development strategy of Xinjiang XPCC and local areas and the actual development situation of the study area,we put forward the coordinated development suggestions of Wujiaqu and Urumqi and Changji cities.To provide a theoretical basis for the integrated development of XPCC and local in Xinjiang.The research shows:(1)From 2013 to 2018,the spatial distribution of production-living-ecological in the study area showed different distribution patterns.the production space showed the distribution pattern of “ three main cores as the center and multiple cores dispersed distribution ”;Living space showed the distribution pattern of “high in the middle,low around the sides”;The ecological space showed the distribution pattern of “ high in the south and low in the north ”.Different spatial land transfer characteristics have different directions.The center of gravity of production space and living space is in the north of Urumqi,and the center of ecological space is in the mountainous area of southwestern Urumqi.(2)In terms of the comprehensive development level of the production-livingecological function in the study area,the production function of Changji is better,and the living function of Urumqi city is better,the ecological functions of the three cities have a trend of first decline and then increase.In terms of the production function,there is a positively asymmetric symbiotic between Wujiaqu City and Urumqi City.Wujiaqu city has a greater influence on Urumqi city.There is a negatively asymmetric symbiotic between Wujiaqu City and Changji City.The degree of mutual influence between the two cities in various years is different.In the aspect of living function,the symbiotic model between Wujiaqu city and the two local cities are positively asymmetric symbiotic,both local cities have a strong influence on Wujiaqu City.In terms of ecological function,the symbiotic model between Wujiaqu city and the two local cities is positively asymmetric symbiotic.Wujiaqu has a great influence on Urumqi,and Wujiaqu has a great influence on Changji.(3)The unbalanced development of production-living-ecological function is the main problem that hinders the coordinated development of XPCC and local.We should strengthen the space cooperation of production-living-ecological space in XPCC and local.Among them,in terms of production,it is divided into“ four districts,three axes and one base” respectively.In terms of life aspect,the construction of XPCC and local cities transportation network is strengthened,and the radiation effect of the central city is used to drive the development of surrounding cities.In terms of the ecology aspect,XPCC and local cooperation to establish ecological protection areas.Eventually realize the multi-faceted interconnection between XPCC and local cities.
