In the early stages of economic construction and development,in order to improve the domestic industrial system and realize the rapid development of the national economy,a number of resource-based cities were developed that depended on resource exploitation or the construction of resource industries. As one of Lengshuijiang City, antimony ore is concentrated in the tin mine area, and coal is distributed in almost every town in the city.In the heyday of mining, there were more than 80 coal mining enterprises. After more than thirty years of mining,by the end of 2017,there were only five tin mining and smelting enterprises, and there were only more than ten coal mining enterprises. How to maintain the sustainable economic development of Lengshuijiang City under the condition of resource exhaustion, and to explore a scientific and sustainable urban development path have become urgent tasks. The ecological footprint model has been widely recognized by scholars as an important method for quantitative analysis of regional sustainable development due to its non-monetary and maneuverable characteristics. Therefore,in this paper, the ecological footprint model is selected.Based on the analysis of the dynamic changes of the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of Lengshuijiang City from 2005 to 2017,the ecological footprint per unit of 10,000 yuan GDP,ecological footprint diversity index, ecological development capability index, and ecological pressure are introduced. The index and ecological coordination index and other evaluation indicators comprehensively analyze the sustainable development of Lengshuijiang City.the result shows:During the study period, the ecological footprint decreased from 6.407hm2/person in2005 to 5.298hm2/person in 2017,a decrease of 1.109hm2/person;the change trend of ecological carrying capacity was between 0.022 hm 2 /person,down 0.001 hm 2 /person,Showing a steady and slow downward trend;the overall situation of ecological supply and demand is in deficit, from 6.107hm2/person in 2005 to 5.009hm2/person in 2017,showing a downward trend;Lengshuijiang’s ecological profit and loss status indicates that the current region The development is mainly to maintain a balance between ecological supply and demand by consuming a large amount of the city’s previous natural resource stock and extracting resources from the city’s radiation range. In addition, the Lengshuijiang City Ecological Sustainability Index has always been below 0.2,and the regional development is in a stage of serious unsustainable development.Further calculation of the evaluation indicators affecting the sustainable development of Lengshuijiang City has resulted in a regional unit of ten thousand yuan The GDP ecological footprint has shown a downward trend. In recent years,Lengshuijiang City has been continuously optimizing its industrial structure while optimizing its industrial structure, and its resource utilization efficiency has been slowly increasing.Although the ecological footprint diversity index has increased, the value shows that the consumption structure remains In an extremely unbalanced state,at the same time, the ability of ecological economic development has been improved;the ecological pressure index of renewable resources has increased from 2.386 to 3.281,and the overall ecological coordination coefficient is gradually approaching the minimum value of 1,based on the poor degree of regional development coordination. The ecological pressure of renewable resources is also increasing; Finally, based on the quantitative analysis and evaluation index calculation results combined with the development status of Lengshuijiang City, the regional development is analyzed in terms of favorable factors and unfavorable factors, and it is proposed that measures should be taken from the aspects of industrial structure upgrade, consumption pattern change, resource utilization improvement, and ecological environment coordination. In order to effectively reduce the ecological footprint demand, increase the ecological supply, and achieve regional sustainable development.
