As a unique type of park,urban wetland parks have important ecological and social functions such as ecological protection,water purification,rainwater storage,landscape recreation,etc.,but there is a problem that legal protection is out of place.With the change of ecological law governance,the "protection-oriented" environmental law system puts forward higher requirements for the ecological environmental protection of urban wetland parks,that is,comprehensive governance.my country’s regulations on the ecological protection of urban wetland parks are scattered in various normative legal documents,and local governance has also carried out legal practice,but there is always a lack of specialized legislation for wetland and wetland ecological protection.With the promulgation of the "Yangtze River Protection Law" in 2021 and the drafting of the "Wetland Protection Law",my country has provided practically tested legislative materials for the establishment of a legal system for urban wetland park ecological protection,which is conducive to promoting the rule of law for urban wetland park ecological protection Process.In order to in-depth study of the development of the legal system of ecological protection of urban wetland parks in my country,starting from the demonstration of the basic functions,classifications and operational functions of ecological protection of urban wetland parks,combined with the theory of citizens’ environmental rights,the t heory of sustainable development,and the theory of comprehensive ecosystem management And other three theories,Taking Wuxi Changguangxi Urban Wetland Park’s ecological protection operation status and legal inspection as an example,it is pointed out that the ecological protection legal system of my country’s urban wetland parks has an incomplete ecological protection legal system,unclear management authority authority,incomplete public participation system,and legal supervision.Key issues such as the imperfect system and imperfect legal responsibilities of wetland parks.Through combing the normative legal documents of the ecological protection of urban wetland parks in my country,and comparing with the relevant legal systems of foreign urban wetland parks,it puts forward feasible suggestions for improving the ecological protection legal mechanism of urban wetland parks in my country.
