Study On The Ecological Protection And Recreational Development Planning Of Urban Wetland Park

Urban wetlands are the important part of the urban ecosystem. They have many Ecological functions such as regulating regional climate, accumulating the headwaters and controlling the flood, enhancing the biodiversity and so on. Now the city is utilizing the urban wetlands. But the way of utilization is so worrying. Urban wetlands are being nibbled and destroyed. The improper economic production is destroying the ecological environment of urban wetlands where the water quality is deteriorating, the traditional architectures are being removed or modified, the traditional culture is disappearing, the animals have no place to habitat, and the species of the animals and plants are reducing. To contain the recessing of urban wetlands, we proposed to construct urban wetland park, a good way to deal with the protection, development and utilization of wetland. We can make the best of the beautiful environment in or around the city, at the same time, abolish all economic production harmful to the wetland environment of wetlands, and develop some instructive recreation activities to raise awareness of the importance about global environment and ecological protection. Then the urban wetlands could obtain good social benefits, and also economic benefits for maintenance of wetland ecological environment. Then a positive cycle will be established: eco-friendly, recreation activities, social and economic benefits, ecological and environmental protection. So in the planning of urban wetland park, the conservation and recreation development plan is the important prerequisite of effective protection and rational development of wetlands.In this thesis, the conservation and recreation development plan of urban weltand park is conducted by literature consulting, field survey, comparative analysis, case analysis and comprehensive generalization. Followed interpretation of the concepts, and relevant principles, theories, the plan of urban wetland park is researched from the two aspects of protection and recreation development. And through analysis of London Wetland Park, Hong Kong Wetland Park, Xixi Wetland Park and Nandagang Wetland Park, a conclusion is reached that the protection planning should be conducted from special protection of water, animals and plants, culture and so on, the recreation development planning should create characteristic recreation activities combining with wetland ecological culture and the local folk culture and the historical tradition on the basis of environmental protection. Finally, the full text is summarized, some suggestions were put forward.
