Since the 20 th century,especially with the completion of the third industrial revolution,Scientific and technological advancement and industrialization development have brought enormous material wealth to mankind,which is unprecedented.But meanwhile,they’ve plunged mankind into sufferings caused by ecological destruction.Against the backdrop of global ecological crises cropping up frequently,ecological injustice in China becomes increasingly prominent.Scientific theories are urgently needed as our guidelines to solve ecological justice issues.The methods applied here are historical and logical perspectives.The thesis begins with theoretical framework and the background information introduction of the era,and then analyze the rooted cause of the formation of Marx’s ecological justice thought.The ecological justice thoughts studied in this thesis are mainly abstracted from Marxist classics.The literature research method is used to sort out Marx’s ecological justice thoughts,through in-depth reading and combing of the works.On this basis,by applying the standpoints,views and methods of Marxist,the author refines and concludes the core content and characteristics of Marx’s thoughts about ecological justice.The author puts forward that Marx’s Ecological Justice Thought is scientific,which is different from Ecocentrism and Anthropocentrism.The thought is more realistic and people-oriented and it points to the future.Finally,based on status quo of contemporary ecological justice development in China.The author analyzes the reasons for the occurrence of ecological injustice in China,and proposes solutions for contemporary China’s ecological construction by applying Marx’s ecological justice thought to China’s particular national conditions..The ecological injustice in China is mainly manifested in the gap between rural and urban areas and unfairness among groups of people from different walks of life.To address the unfair problems arising from traditional unitary mode of economic development,China should make assiduous efforts to develop a green economy,reform ecological mechanism and further reach consensus on ecological justice.This can also be achieved through joint resistance against the threat from ecological imperialism. |
