Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China’s industrialization, the traditional growth model of high energy consumption and external release has brought serious environmental problems. At present, the pollution control task is still arduous in the complex environment at home and abroad. The Yellow River is the second longest river in China, and the Yellow River basin gives birth to Chinese civilization. With the determination of the national strategy for the Yellow River Basin, the position of the Yellow River basin in national development is further highlighted, and serious industrial pollution has become an important task of environmental protection in the Yellow River basin. At the same time, with the formation of urban agglomeration and economic belt, there is an obvious spatial correlation between the industrial pollution emissions of the geographically adjacent cities due to the similarity of natural endowments and the flow of resource elements. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the spatial and temporal pattern of industrial pollution in the Yellow River Basin and identify the influencing factors of industrial pollution in the Yellow River Basin for the coordinated control of pollution in the Yellow River Basin.Article drawing on and assimilating the existing related literature research, based on the first law of geography, spatial spillover theory of limit growth, such as theoretical basis, using literature analysis, exploratory spatial analysis and spatial econometric model analysis method, the visualization study the spatial and temporal evolution pattern of industrial pollution in the Yellow River, the relation of the Yellow River basin, global and local, and depict summarizes the spatial agglomeration of industrial pollution in the Yellow River evolution features and distribution characteristics. Finally, the spatial dynamic panel Durbin model is used to identify the influencing factors and their spatial effects of industrial pollution in the Yellow River Basin. The main conclusions are as follows.(1)The industrial wastewater discharge in the Yellow River Basin shows an inverted U-shaped change, which basically conforms to the hypothesis of environmental Kuznets curve. The distribution pattern of industrial pollution emission is high in the east and high in the west. From west to east, the extremely low value area, low value area, high value area and extremely high value area of industrial pollution emission are distributed successively. The spatial distribution of urban GDP in the Yellow River Basin is similar to that of industrial pollution.(2)The global Moran index of industrial wastewater, industrial sulfur dioxide and industrial smoke and dust are all significantly positive, that is,the global clustering characteristics of industrial pollution is obvious.During the study period, the spatial correlation fluctuation of pollutants is gradually weakened. The global correlation strength of the three pollutants is in order:industrial wastewater>industrial SO2>industrial smoke dust.(3)The agglomeration of industrial pollution in the Yellow River Basin presents an anomalous distribution, forming"the low value agglomeration zone in the west of the Yellow River Basin"and"the high value agglomeration club in the middle and east of the Yellow River Basin".The number of high-value agglomeration H-H type and low-value collapse L-H type cities in local space decreased, and the high-value industrial wastewater agglomeration H-H type distributed in sheets, which was further concentrated in Shandong Peninsula in 2008.The low-value collapse L-H type distributed in the periphery of high-value agglomeration cities, which was in the disadvantageous position of"being black near ink".Industrial SO2and industrial smoke and dust high-value agglomeration type H-H from the middle of the basin to the north of Inner Mongolia. The number of low-value agglomeration L-L and high-value bulging H-L cities of industrial pollution in the Yellow River Basin is increasing. The low-value agglomeration L-L belt distribution is stable in the western region of the Yellow River Basin, and the H-L cities show a point-like distribution, which are mainly regional central cities, provincial capitals and prefecture-level capitals. There is a risk of pollution leakage.(4)The spatial lag coefficient and time lag coefficient of industrial pollution in the Yellow River Basin are both positive, which indicates that the industrial pollution discharge has the characteristics of"each prosperity, each loss"and the"snowball effect"in the time series. The spatial and temporal coefficients of the three pollutants are different, the industrial wastewater is positive, and the"competitive discharge"of industrial wastewater appears in the neighboring cities between regions.Industrial SO2and industrial smoke are negative, and the pollution emissions of neighboring cities between regions have"warning effect".(5)The direct spatial effects of economic growth and energy consumption are positive, that is,they promote the local pollution emission; The direct effect of industrial structure, technological level, industrial agglomeration and environmental regulation is negative, that is,it slows down the local pollution emission. The indirect effect of industrial structure and energy consumption is positive, that is,it promotes the emission of pollution in the surrounding areas. The indirect effects of economic growth, technological level, industrial agglomeration and environmental regulation are negative, that is,they slow down the pollution emission in neighboring areas.
