Research On The Influencing Of Social Capital On Residents’ Participation In Waste Sorting Behavior

The development of urbanization and commodity economy in our country have greatly improved the material life of the residents,and the output of domestic garbage has also increased accordingly,and the treatment of domestic garbage has become an important topic.The use of landfill or incineration treatment methods is easy to cause a series of problems such as strained land resources,releasing harmful gases,and the destruction of the human immune system.In order to solve this problem,in 2019,China began to carry out the "garbage classification" policy pilot projects in various places to improve the living environment of the broad masses,promote the recycling of resources,and realize the "recycling" of garbage.As the basic subsystem of urban development,the community is an important unit to implement the garbage classification policy.Through the interactive relationship network,social capital is conducive to residents to participate in environmental protection cooperation.The participation of residents in garbage classification in the community affects the implementation of the policy.From the perspective of social capital,this study selects social network capital,social trust capital,social standard capital and sense of community belonging to construct relevant observation variables,and builds a research model with residents participating in garbage classification behavior.Explore the influence of social capital on residents ’participation in garbage classification,and put forward suggestions to promote residents’ participation according to the research results.Firstly,we basically expounded the Chinese garbage classification policy and the current situation,sorted out the domestic and foreign relevant documents on social capital and residents ’ participation,and put forward the research purpose and significance.Secondly,the social concepts involved in the research capital,residents participate in garbage classification concept,and the social capital theory,plan behavior theory,to provide theoretical basis for further empirical research,combined with theory,build social capital on the residents to participate in garbage classification behavior influence model.This paper takes Z community in Shijiazhuang as the survey sample,collects data by questionnaire survey,and uses SPSS19.0 and AMOS24.0 statistical analysis software to verify the theoretical model.According to the analysis of empirical results,it is concluded that residents ’participation in garbage classification is affected by social capital factors,among which the influence of community belonging is relatively large,and social trust capital has a relatively small impact on residents’ participation in garbage classification.Social network capital and social standard capital have a significant positive correlation to residents ’ participation in garbage classification.Therefore,to promote residents to participate in garbage classification can be launched from the following aspects: Firstly,we should enrich the stock of social capital,enhance the sense of belonging of the community,and let the community residents realize the importance and necessity of garbage classification.Secondly,strengthen the trust between the community and neighbors,and create a good communication platform for the residents.Finally,through the construction of effective networks and improve the community norms,to provide residents with participation channels.Under the effective guidance and supervision of the community,cultivate the good habits of garbage classification for community residents.Together,we will work hard to improve the living environment and contribute to green and sustainable development.
