Study On Policies And Measures For Chemical Pollution Control Of The Yangtse River Of Yichang Area

Chemical industry is the primary pillar industry of yichang,The output value once occupied one-third of the chemical industry in Hubei province.With the development of phosphorus chemical industry,while making great contributions to the economic and social development of Yichang,Chemical industry also brings a lot of pollution to the air,soil and water resources of yichang.For a period of time,accidents happened frequently in the chemical industry enterprises along the Yangtse River,serious environmental problems caused the dilemma of “the chemical waste surrounding the Yangtse River”,triggering widespread concern within the whole society.In recent years,in order to implement the great protection measures,as the initiator and pioneer of three gorges ecological and economic cooperation zone,Yichang seriously implemented the important instructions and suggestions of Xi Jinping about the Yangtze River protection,particularly the important speech when visiting Hubei in 2018.Yichang government made great efforts to solve the“the chemical industry surrounding the Yangtse River”plight.With comprehensive pollution control,implementation of ecological restoration,the work has made positive progress.This paper demonstrates the present situation of “the chemical waste surrounding the Yangtse River” in Yichang area,analyzes multi-subject involved with pollution control and the inter-relationship between multi-subject,and compares the domestic and foreign experience,proposes the solution for the pollution control to guide the whole society to participate in the activity,so to improve the sustainable economic development.
