| With the rapid development of our country’s national economy,environmental issues accompanied by high growth have increasingly become the focus of common attention of the people.Therefore,our country has also increased the management and control of environmental issues related to enterprises.In recent years,under the background of accelerating the construction of ecological civilization,more and more companies have begun to balance profitability and environmental governance.Environmental protection companies have played a vital role in economic development.At the same time,due to the good development prospects of the environmental protection industry,the number of new enterprises has increased significantly in recent years,which has increased the competitive pressure of environmental protection companies to a certain extent,and has also placed higher requirements on environmental protection companies.How to maintain the competitiveness of the enterprise itself in the competition and improve the profit quality of the enterprise are the main issues studied in this article.In this paper,WEL,known as the expert of organic waste recycling,is chosen as the case study to deeply analyze its profit quality from different perspectives and study its related problems in profit quality,which has certain reference value for the company to improve its competitiveness in the fierce market competition.In order to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the profit quality of WEL,the article explores the purpose and significance of this article based on the development background of our country’s environmental protection industry.Firstly,it summarizes the current research status of influencing factors,evaluation indicators and evaluation methods of profit quality at home and abroad.On this basis,the research content and research methods of this article are determined,and the related concepts and theoretical basis of the article are described.The following article is based on the basic situation and main operating conditions of the WEL company.According to the analysis characteristics of the environmental protection industry and the profit quality,we choose 6 first-level indicators(profitability,cash security,profitability continuity,profitability growth,profit safety,profitability development),14 secondary indicators form an evaluation indicator system.The profit quality of the case company from 2014 to 2019 is systematically analyzed according to different indicators,and the outstanding enterprises in the same sub-industry Hanlan environment and industry average are selected to compare with the profit quality of WEL.Combined with the changes in the company’s business activity analysis indicators during the selected period,it intends to have a more comprehensive understanding of the case company’s profit quality.Then the article uses the comprehensive evaluation method entropy method and TOPSIS to calculate and rank the relative progress of the selected companies profit quality based on the calculation of the indicator weights.Then the article choose to analyze the changes in the profit quality of the entire industry from 2017 to 2019,and focus on the analysis changes in the WEL company during this period.Afterwards,based on the aforementioned analysis results,it was found that WEL’s profit quality was insufficient in terms of cash security,profitability growth,profit safety,profitability development.Finally,some pertinent suggestions are put forward based on the aforementioned analysis.It is hoped that the research conclusions and suggestions in this article can provide some help for WEL company to improve its profitability,and also hope that it can play a reference role for the improvement of the profitability of similar enterprises in the same industry. |
