| Education is a very important task to our state and Party, and our country has always attached great importance to education. In the “13th Five-Year” period, the government issued a series of documents aiming at the reform of higher education, and the draft outline of the “14th Five-Year Plan” also continued to make specific arrangements for the construction of a high-quality education system. The 14 th Five-Year period is the first period in which China embarked on a new journey to build a modern socialist country in all respects. However,China’s development is still unbalanced and inadequate, and its innovation capacity is not yet up to the requirements of high-quality development. As we all know, the cultivation of innovation is based on education, then it will put forward a higher level of requirements for the development of higher education in the new period. At present, there are still some disadvantages in higher education. And at the same time,Inorganic Chemistry is a compulsory course in many majors, which designed to enable college students to learn the basic principles and knowledge of chemistry, understand the frontiers of science and technology, master new science and technology, and prepare for the further development of the profession.Considering the social backgrounds, the drawbacks in the current university class and the requirements of Inorganic Chemistry course,we need to take students as the basis to explore a different teaching model from traditional teaching to give full play to students’ innovation and autonomy, building efficient Inorganic Chemistry courses, and training high-quality personnel for China’s socialist modernization drive. This paper studied the BOPPPS(Bridge-In,Outcomes,Pre-Assessment,Participatory Learning,Post-Assessment,and Summary)teaching mode and PAD Class teaching mode in the aspects of its basic mode, development process, and theoretical basis by the literature method, survey method, case analysis and some other methods. Then I found although BOPPPS teaching model and PAD class mode have gradually become research hotspots in recent years, they were seldom applied in the course of Inorganic Chemistry, and there are no cases where the two models are combined and applied to Inorganic Chemistry. There is still a big gap in the application of Inorganic Chemistry. In another way, this two teaching models have similarities in mode and theory, but also have their own focal points and bright spots,so we could design a fusion teaching model to give full play to the advantages of both. Therefore,I made use of the rich online teaching resources to design the online-to-offline mixed teaching mode after the fusion of the two modes according to the characteristics of the freshmen, aiming to give full play to their advantages and better promote students’ learning. Then I made a fusion design through the integration analysis, and finally formed a teaching mode which the framework being the ideas of “PAD” Class supported by the core of BOPPPS teaching mode. Then I put my design into practice by taking Clinical Medicine Professional teaching class as the research object and taking “Chemical Reaction Rate”,“Precipitation and Dissolution Balance” two chapters in the Inorganic Chemistry as a case study. At the end of the course,I conducted a questionnaire survey and interview survey on the students’ learning situation, which showed that the teaching practice basically achieved the research purpose: the students’ knowledge level was improved, their sense of acquisition was enhanced, and their abilities were developed. In conclusion, this was a valuable teaching practice, and it may can provide some references for the future teaching reform. |
