Abstract/Summary:
The logistics industry connects all links in the national economic activities and is the“third-party profit source”of the national economy.The high-quality development of the logistics industry plays a vital role in promoting the high-quality operation of the national economy.At the same time,the logistics industry is also the backbone of the national“One Belt and One Road”strategy to achieve“interconnection”.However,due to the extensive development model of high input and high output for a long time,the logistics industry has industrial drawbacks such as low operation efficiency,high energy consumption and serious carbon emissions.In the context of the global energy crisis,climate warming,and the advocacy of low-carbon economic development,how China’s“One Belt and One Road”region can improve and enhance the efficiency of the logistics industry while developing low-carbon development is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on this,this article specifically studies the efficiency of the logistics industry in China’s“One Belt and One Road”region,and aims to put forward specific recommendations based on the research results to promote the low-carbon and efficient development of the logistics industry in various regions.On the basis of systematically combing the existing theories and literature,and based on the background of low-carbon economy,this paper takes 17 provinces in China’s“One Belt and One Road”region as the research object.Firstly,analyze the relationship between unit GDP and energy consumption and CO2emissions;Secondly,select relevant data from 2013 to2019,construct an evaluation index system,and use the three-stage DEA method and the Malmquist index method to evaluate the efficiency of China’s“One Belt and One Road”provincial logistics industry statically and dynamically.The results of the study show that under the low-carbon economy,only 7 of the 17 provinces in China’s“One Belt and One Road”region have the efficiency of the logistics industry reaching DEA,while the logistics industry in the rest of the region is not efficient,and the efficiency of different provinces differs greatly.Investigate the reasons for this,The development of logistics industry in these provinces has the phenomenon of unreasonable resource allocation and unreasonable scale to varying degrees.At the same time,it is susceptible to the influence of external environment and random factors,so it is necessary to eliminate them;and with technological progress and technical efficiency With improvement,the efficiency of the logistics industry in most regions is continuously improving,and it has gradually embarked on a low-carbon road.Finally,based on the static and dynamic evaluation results,from a regional and overall perspective,it proposes improved countermeasures and suggestions for the low-carbon development of China’s“One Belt and One Road”provincial logistics industry.
