| The process of globalization has made the competition between manufacturing companies increasingly fierce,coupled with the rapid iteration of science and technology,the challenges faced by traditional manufacturing companies are particularly severe.To ensure efficient productivity,most manufacturing companies use flow production lines for production,but the imbalance of work-loads at different stations in the production line will cause serious waste and even shutdown of the production line.Therefore,research on the optimization of production line balance is very important for manufacturing companies.This paper takes the 1-inch tube carbon ribbon production line of Company A as the research object,combines industrial engineering methods and modeling and simulation technology to conduct a research on the balance optimization of the production line.First of all,this article briefly describes the current research status of production line balance optimization at home and abroad,and introduces the related research methods of production line balance optimization and Flexsim simulation software.Secondly,this article summarizes the current status of the 1-inch tube ribbon production line of company A,and evaluates the balance of the production line based on the data collected from the field survey and the Flexsim simulation model;Analyzes the causes of imbalance from five aspects: process,procedure,site,equipment,and employees,and finds the bottleneck position.Then,uses layout optimization,process optimization and improvement of bottleneck procedures to optimize the existing problems;first uses the SLP method to ameliorate the layout of the workshop facilities;on the basis of program analysis,combined with 5W1 H questioning technology and ECRS principles to streamline production process;applies man-machine operation analysis to adjust the unreasonable work arrangement in the bottleneck process.Finally,a simulation model is established for the optimized 1-inch tube ribbon production line to analyze the optimization effect,and evaluates the optimization effect of the production line from the operating time of each station,the balance of the production line,etc.In this paper,by optimizing the 1-inch tube carbon ribbon production line,the balance of the production line is improved,and the workload of each station is balanced.After optimization,the balance rate of the production line is increased from 67.52% to 78.9%,reaching a better production line level;the smoothing index of the production line is reduced from 198.84 to 125.94,and the workload between different stations is more balanced;The operation cycle of the production line has been shortened by 164.5s,and the number of orders completed in a single day has increased by 5.The efficiency of the entire production line has been further improved,which has brought obvious economic benefits to the A company. |
