For the purpose of product identification design,this paper introduces the concept of product style features and product design DNA in product modeling design.Taking the genetic and variability characteristics of product design DNA as the breakthrough point,a multiple regression model is established according to the quantitative relationship between dominant DNA and recessive DNA,which provides rules for the design deduction of shape grammar,And take the Dongling bread-making machine as an example for design practice.In this paper,the brand status and product modeling of bread maker at home and abroad were investigated and analyzed.After the product design DNA was analyzed and extracted,the multiple regression model was established with the dominant DNA of product design as the independent variable and the recessive DNA of product design as the dependent variable.The partial regression coefficient was obtained and the multiple regression equation was established,After describing the variation degree of product design DNA,shape grammar deduction rules are deduced,and shape grammar is executed for design deduction.In this paper,the bread machine of Dongling brand is chosen as the application object to carry out the design practice: First,15 samples of Dongling bread-making machine and 10 pairs of perceptual image adjectives were collected and selected;Secondly,the modeling feature lines of Dongling bread-making machine were described,and the dominant DNA of product design was extracted by DFA.SD method was used to investigate the perceptual image of bread-making machine,and factor analysis was used to extract the recessive DNA of product design;Thirdly,a multiple regression model was established to quantitatively describe the relationship between recessive DNA and dominant DNA of Mitsubishi bread-making machine,and the new shape was generated by flexibly using the deduction rules of shape grammar,and the new shape was freely combined to screen the product optimization scheme;Finally,the optimized design scheme is evaluated to verify that the design scheme conforms to the brand style of Dongling and has good product identification.The theory and method make the new generation of products have innovation,at the same time,keep similar style characteristics with the parent products,so as to obtain better product identification,improve the loyalty of users,and establish a distinct brand image.It provides more scientific and efficient theoretical basis and practical methods for enterprises and product designers in product identification design.
