| As one of the pillar industries in Chinese national economic society,construction industry plays a significant role in domestic economic growth and social progress.However,series of problems occur in the developing process of construction industry.Among all the problems,the low-tech feature and poor innovative capability of construction industry can be recognized as one of the main reasons contributing to its backward and labor-intensive production and management methods.According to Chinese national development strategies,promoting industrial technological innovation is a primary mean to change the current situation of construction industry.Nevertheless,the input and output level of technological innovation in Chinese construction industry is obviously lower than that of developed countries,and the innovative ability of construction firms is weakening,which greatly abates the positive effect of technological innovation on construction industry.Therefore,it is of urgent need for government to implement effective regulation methods to boost technological innovation in construction industry.In the light of experience of developed countries and relevant researches,environmental regulation could act as a crucial role in relation to industrial technological innovation.If researchers could explore the technological innovation effect behind environmental regulation and if the policy makers could select appropriate environmental regulation tools,it would help to tackle the current problems in construction industry and meanwhile be beneficial to economic growth.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the influence of environmental regulation on technological innovation of construction industry.According to relevant literature review,this study finds out that the existing literature has the following deficiencies:1)there are insufficient researches on the impact of environmental regulation on technological in the construction industry;2)lack of research on the mechanism of technological innovation of construction industry;3)the research on the impact of environmental regulation on industrial technological innovation is inadequate;4)there are insufficient research related to the relationship between environmental regulation and industrial technological innovation from a dynamic perspective.Thus,in order to fill these research gaps,the following steps of researches were carried out in this study.First,this paper studied the technological innovation mechanism of construction industry,which laid the theoretical foundation for the design of behavioral rule of multiple stakeholders in the simulation model as well as for the system’s transmission mechanism.Second,this study conducted a theoretical analysis of the impact of environmental regulation on the technological innovation of construction industry,which provided a theoretical basis for the scenario setting and analysis of the simulation model.Third,based on computational experiments,this study conducted the evolution simulation of the technological innovation of the construction industry under environment regulation,and analyzed the impact of environmental regulation on the technological innovation in construction industry by setting different scenarios of different types and degrees of environmental tools.The results of this paper are as follows: 1)it has formed a systematic concept system of construction innovation and demonstrated the relationship between related concepts;2)it has established a theoretical model of construction technological innovation,which helps to offer a systematic way of understanding and could reveal its evolution characteristics and process.3)it has clarified the impact mechanism of environmental regulation on technological innovation of construction industry;4)in the light of the simulation model in chapter 5,this study found out the rules of the effect of environmental regulation on construction technological innovation. |
