At present,under the implementation of the new development concept,China’s economy presents a new trend of development,which is mainly manifested in slowing down from high-speed growth to medium high-speed growth;the industrial structure is constantly optimized and upgraded,from investment driven,factor driven to innovation driven.The chemical industry is required to speed up the pace of industrial structure adjustment and constantly improve the equipment level and quality efficiency.This has brought severe survival challenges to chemical enterprises,and problems such as small capital,small scale and difficult transformation have become increasingly prominent.IN this paper,the representative JYY chemical industry company is selected as the research object under the situation of national economic growth slowdown,chemical industry market contraction,and intensified competition.Firstly,the overall external environment and industry competition environment of the company are analyzed by PESTEL analysis and Porter’s five forces model,and then the internal environment of JYY chemical industry company is studied from two aspects of resources and capabilities,Finally,we use the evaluation matrix of internal and external factors,SWOT analysis tools and QSPM evaluation matrix to choose the appropriate competitive strategy for JYY chemical company,and put forward the implementation and control methods for the company’s competitive strategy,so as to ultimately improve the company’s market competitiveness and achieve healthy and sustainable development.
