In the context of globalization,Chinese manufacturing has become an indispensable part of the world’s resource allocation.After more than 20 years of development in China’s cosmetics packaging materials industry,the manufacturing industry is becoming more mature and the competition is becoming increasingly fierce.YL Company is a private manufacturing enterprise.Based on rich industry experience and good overseas partnership,the company has become the supplier of the leading makeup brands(such as Estee Lauder,L’Oreal and LVMH group etc.)after nearly ten years of development majoring plastic packaging products.The company’s products are exported worldwide,maintaining a good business growth for many years.In terms of corporate competition strategy,YL company have adopted a cost-leading strategy.It is the most important competitiveness of enterprises to find a way to maintain low-and medium-price strategies in the industry.However,with the increase of labor costs,the appreciation of the renminbi,the adjustment and upgrading of the industrial structure and the changes in the business environment,the cost strategy has become difficult to support the company for the continuous growing.The article analysis YL company’s external and internal environment by IEF matrix and SPACE matrix tools and then provide the company strategy transformation suggestions.With the industry improvement of the Chinese local cosmetics packaging enterprises,more and more cosmetic packaging companies will need specific strategic transformation cases for market reference.It is believed that this article will help strategically upgrade and transformation the enterprises in the cosmetics packaging industry.
