Performance appraisal is an important component of human resource management.A set of well-designed and effective performance appraisal system can not only achieve good performance management,but also play a very important role in promoting the enterprise’s overall management level and achieving its strategic goals.DJ ceramics company is a labor-intensive enterprise with a certain scale in jingdezhen,integrating ceramic manufacturing and sales.In the context of the slowdown in the overall economic development of the country,the ceramics industry has also been hit.A large number of medium and small ceramic manufacturers in jingdezhen are facing bankruptcy or undergoing difficult transformation and upgrading.Through the investigation and research on the current performance appraisal system of DJ ceramics company,it is found that the performance appraisal system does not meet the needs of the enterprise for survival and development.In this context,it is necessary and urgent to sort out the current performance appraisal system of DJ ceramic company and optimize and improve the performance appraisal system.Based on the purpose and method of performance appraisal,this paper analyzes the pros and cons of different performance appraisal methods and the applicable situation,and then combines the status quo of performance appraisal of DJ ceramics company to find out its existing problems,mainly in the employee’s performance appraisal system for modern enterprises.The understanding is not comprehensive enough,the identification of performance appraisal is insufficient and the participation is low,the division of work of the performance appraisal department is unknown,the design of the appraisal indicators is subjective and random,the assessment mechanism is flawed and the performance communication is lacking.In view of the above performance appraisal issues,this paper clarifies the necessity of DJ ceramics to introduce KPI assessment and the factors that KPI assessment plan design should consider,and then from the establishment of company-level KPI,the establishment of department-level KPI,the establishment of KPI weights of various departments and assessment The correction of the results and the distribution of performance bonuses were carried out in the four aspects of DJ Ceramics KPI assessment program design and application.Finally,in order to ensure the optimization of the performance appraisal system of DJ Ceramics,this paper believes that the first is to improve the organizational structure of performance appraisal,the second is to establish an appraisal culture and create an assessment atmosphere,and the third is to pay attention to two-way communication in performance management.Establish and improve the assessment and incentive mechanism,the fifth is to rationally formulate performance plans and performance targets.It is hoped that the performance appraisal system of this paper can provide reference for the design and optimization of the performance appraisal system of small and medium-sized ceramic enterprises in Jingdezhen,and also help the transformation and upgrading of small and medium-sized ceramic enterprises.
