Performance appraisal is a key step of modern enterprise management and an important tool and method to achieve the objectives of enterprise management.Its purpose is to play the incentive role of performance appraisal according to the results of performance appraisal,improve work efficiency,and achieve the strategic goal of enterprise development.For a sales company,the sales department is the department that brings profits to the company and is the most important link in the value chain of the company.The sales level and comprehensive ability of sales personnel have a great impact on the development speed and profit level of the company,and affect the development of the company.It is very important to adjust and optimize the performance appraisal system of the company’s sales personnel to improve the company’s profitability and market competitiveness.As R Bio company integrating production and sales of medical materials,its profits mainly come from the performance of sales personnel,establish a reasonable and appropriate performance appraisal system for sales personnel,objectively and truly reflect the performance of sales personnel,give play to the incentive role of performance appraisal,and improve the subjective enthusiasm of sales personnel.This has long-term strategic significance and important practical significance for the development of the company.This paper takes the performance appraisal system of R Biological Company as the research object.First of all,the concept of performance,performance appraisal and performance appraisal system is summarized,the purpose and principle of performance appraisal are expounded,the advantages and disadvantages of main performance appraisal methods are compared,and the theoretical foundation is laid for the optimization of the performance appraisal system for sales personnel.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and interviews,this paper analyzes the current situation of the performance appraisal system for R biological sales staff,including problems such as imperfect appraisal program,inappropriate appraisal elements and standards,inadequate assessment implementation,lack of assessment feedback,and single application of assessment results.Thirdly,optimize and improve the performance appraisal system of the company’s sales staff.In the assessment plan,the assessment goal is defined as the accurate assessment of sales personnel,the assessment cycle is adjusted to quarterly assessment,and the balanced scorecard method is adopted to optimize the performance assessment system.In terms of assessment elements and standards,corresponding assessment indicators and weights are set from four dimensions: finance,customer,internal process,learning and growth.In the aspect of assessment implementation,carry out assessment publicity meeting,strengthen the assessment process control,timely publish the assessment results and analyze;In the assessment feedback,establish the performance interview mode,open the appeal channel;In terms of assessment results,we apply the assessment results to the salary adjustment,job promotion and performance assessment of sales personnel.Finally,in order to better ensure the effective implementation of performance appraisal,organizational guarantee,institutional guarantee,financial guarantee and cultural guarantee are provided to make sure that the assessment system continues to progress.
