With the continuous upgrading of consumption and the improvement of living standards,people's requirements for the function,appearance and interactive experience of modern lighting products have also increased.Today,lighting products are gradually homogeneous in terms of functional innovation,so the appearance and participation experience of lighting products have become important factors to win the market and users.Enterprises have many problems in the process of product development,such as low success rate of product development,long development cycle,large cost investment and so on.In the face of fierce market competition and the continuous improvement of the user's threshold for participating experience,this study uses the modular design method to study the openness of lighting product design under the concept of open innovation,and realizes the lighting design through the modular design method.of openness.The main research contents are as follows:The paper firstly expounds the concepts of open innovation and modularity and their basic theories.In the first stage,the related theories of open innovation and consumer participation and related theories of modular design are analyzed in the first stage,and the existing research is analyzed.By summarizing and summarizing,the relationship between open innovation and modular design was clarified;after clarifying the design goal of the open participation method of lighting users,in the second stage,the characteristics and modularization of modern lighting were sorted out and summarized.Lighting design cases,understand the market status of modular lighting products and summarize the openness of the existing modular lighting product design;the third stage first summarizes the characteristics and elements of modern lighting products and conducts case analysis of modular lighting design.Then,the significance of the openness of lamps and lanterns is discussed.From the openness of design results,the evolvability of product systems,and the openness of design participants as the design goals,the modular design ideas of open lamps and lanterns are formulated divide;in the final design stage,design and define the divided lamp modules;start the design of the lamp body module from the four aspects of shape,color,texture and pattern,and realize the function and the freedom of the module.The combination is the goal of designing the connection structure,base module,light source module and flower arrangement module of the modules.Finally,some of the lamp body modules are selected in combination with other modules for combined design to show the final modular lighting combination scheme effect.The open innovation concept combined with the modular design method is integrated into the design of lighting products,to a certain extent,it meets the personalized needs of users for the design of modern lighting products.It forms a new closed loop for users to participate in product development of lamps,to users' independent creation,and finally to form a new closed loop of iterative update of lamps and lanterns,which provides a new possibility for the field of lighting innovation and expands the application field of open innovation concepts.
