The development of science and technology and the progress of social civilization have changed people’s living conditions and consumption concepts. In the age of technology, people are paying more and more attention to user experience, and they are more interested in emotional products. The ever-increasing pace of life and the increasing pressure of social competition have made people’s mental health worse and worse, and the number of depression patients has increased significantly and tended to become younger.Young people are facing the pressure of graduation and employment, their living conditions are not guaranteed, they are at a loss for the future, and they are often anxious, nervous and depressed, which also creates more emotional needs.Negative emotions need to be expressed and output correctly, not suppressed. When people cannot relieve their negative emotions themselves, they need to use external forces.Lighting is an indispensable electrical appliance in people’s lives.Studies have shown that light can not only affect people’s physiology, but also directly affect people’s psychology and mood.Atmosphere lights are able to create an atmosphere through light and affect people’s mood. This article focuses on the characteristics of ambient lights, through market and user research, the construction of user portraits, the creation of interactive scenes, and finally combines the subconscious and subconscious behaviors of users to design the shapes and interaction methods of ambient lights to help users relieve stress to a certain extent,Explored new ideas for the design of atmosphere lights. The article is divided into the following five chapters. The first chapter introduces the research background of contemporary young people suffering from emotional problems through the social status quo,and establishes research topics based on the underlying emotional needs behind the emotions and the characteristics of the atmosphere light. After analyzing the research purpose, significance, and difficulties of the topic, the research method was formulated, and the design research for different user characteristics was started. The second chapter studies the subconsciousness, interaction design, and the influence of light on human beings, and sorts out the relationships between subconsciousness and emotion, subconsciousness and subconscious behavior, and establishes user subconsciousness and interaction from the inside out The link between design. Finally, through a small psychological experiment,it is verified that the lighting atmosphere can affect people’s emotions.Lay a theoretical foundation for the next design research.Chapter 3 determines the user population by describing the target users.A qualitative and quantitative investigation was conducted on the target population from three aspects: space environment, character psychology and character behavior. After analyzing the survey results,we obtained the size of the space for the use of atmosphere lights, the potential emotional needs of users after generating negative emotions, and the decompression behavior generally adopted by users.Classify users and build user portraits.Through market research, the existing interaction technologies and the interaction methods used by lamps are summarized.Design basis for lighting design.Chapter 4 combines theory with research results to create a design framework, analyze scenarios and design requirements, and draw storyboards.According to the design framework, design the lamp shape and interactive behavior, and output the design plan. The fifth chapter analyzes and summarizes the problems in the design research process and practical design methods, and puts forward their own ideas for further improving the design products.
