With the rapid development of our country's economy,people's living standards have been greatly improved,the variety of clothing styles,the low cost and excessive waste of consumption have led to the increase in the frequency of changing clothes in people's lives.The result is uncontrolled manufacture,purchase,waste,waste of materials and pollution of social environment.Due to the classification system of the whole waste clothing has not been established in our country,it will cause serious load to the environment in the face of the increasing waste clothing,such as unreasonable recycling and reuse.On the other hand,overseas,waste clothing recycling activities note attention and support.To make up for the lack of policy and market in our country,the subject calls on more people to join the social living environment with "green and healthy" as the main idea and to advocate the idea of sustainable life.Based on the theory of social innovation and innovative design method,the problem of waste clothing is studied.First of all,the definition,connotation,characteristics and forms of social innovation are sorted out,and the current situation and cases of social innovation at home and abroad are sorted out.Through the participatory driven by social innovation,that is,collaborative design and collaborative organization,research and summarize the solutions of social innovation activities.Secondly,the paper explores the concept and harm of waste clothing from the carbon footprint of clothing waste stage,analyzes and compares the current situation and cases of recycling and reuse of used clothing at home and abroad,and puts forward the strategies suitable for innovation and transformation of used clothing in China.From the perspective of social and environmental interests,we advocate sustainable lifestyle and encourage the secondary use of used clothing.According to Maslow's theory of demand,social innovation activities encourage people to participate in the process of social interaction,to meet the needs of emotional communication and group sense of belonging.At the same time,social innovation-driven mass participation can meet people's self-actualization needs.By means of questionnaire survey,interview,user model construction and so on,the paper puts forward the promotion scheme of the innovation and transformation of used clothing and the strategy of innovation and renovation design of used clothing.Finally,through the practice of social innovation activities to test the feasibility of promoting the scheme and innovation strategy,the establishment of innovative design workshop,design workshop propaganda peripheral,etc.,to launch the design practice.Workshop practice activities are not only designed and shaped,beautiful products,the deeper value in the products is used for the innovation of used clothing knowledge,methods,thinking,strategies and operations.Those are waste clothing innovation and transformation of the promotion of solutions.The purpose of this study is to arouse people's awareness of environmental protection and to pay attention to the concept of sustainable development and sustainable life.The aim is to encourage people to use used clothing to create new things,to update their closets without worrying about the environmental problems caused by the abandonment of old clothes,and to extend the lifespan of clothing through innovative social activities in which they participate.Reduce the waste of resources and realize the humane concern under the welfare.To provide some reference for the future research on the transformation of used clothing.
