Research On The Application Of Shidong Traditional Embroidery Patterns In Modern Home Life Aesthetics

The embroidery skills of the Miao people in the southeast of Guizhou are unique among the embroidery of various ethnic groups.Among them,the embroidery of the Miao people in the southeast of Guizhou is represented by Shidong embroidery.Embroidery uses clothing as the carrier to express its rich cultural connotation and exquisite embroidery skills.Its embroidery patterns record the history,living customs,religious culture,etc.of the ethnic groups in the region,and the connotation and aesthetic psychology of the ethnic patterns displayed therefrom have extremely high cultural research value.Taking the application of Shidong Miao embroidery patterns in Guizhou in modern home life aesthetics as a case study,through in-depth investigation,analysis and design of the connotation,composition and ethnic aesthetics of the patterns,combined with modern aesthetics,this paper expresses its own style through wool fiber art.The design concept finally finds a bridge between traditional folk culture and modern life aesthetics in the form of household practical products,and uses design to activate intangible cultural heritage skills and let intangible cultural heritage come into life.
