The Application Of Yunnan Ethnic Minority Embroidery Patterns In Jewelry Design

In recent years,with the continuous improvement of living standards,jewelry design presents a variety of characteristics in terms of materials and modeling,and cultural has become an important factor in jewelry design.As an excellent minority culture,Yunnan minority embroidery has high research value.The application of Yunnan ethnic minority embroidery patterns in jewelry design can better inherit Yunnan ethnic minority culture and enrich the creative elements of jewelry design.On the basis of consulting relevant literature and field investigation,this paper studies and applies the embroidery patterns of yunnan minorities to the jewelry design.First of all,the paper analyzes the embroidery patterns of five representative nationalities in yunnan minorities :the Yi,Bai,Zhuang,Miao,and Yao,by using the semiotic theory,and classifies the embroidery patterns of the five nationalities according to animal,plant,natural and geometric categories,which provides a basis for the classification research of the embroidery patterns of yunnan minorities and the redesign of the patterns.Secondly,according to the semantics conveyed by the embroidery patterns of Yunnan ethnic minorities,the semantics of the embroidery patterns of Yunnan ethnic minorities were interpreted and classified into four categories: totem worship,emotional sustenance,life reproduction,and harmony between man and nature.Then,the research has drawn four methods for redesigning embroidery patterns of ethnic minorities in Yunnan,which are refining and generalizing,breaking up reconstruction,replacement composition and isomorphism.These methods will be used in the design of embroidery patterns of Yunnan ethnic minorities in jewelry design.Indirect application.Finally,Yunnan ethnic minority embroidery patterns were directly or indirectly applied to jewelry design,and eight sets of20 sets of jewelry designs were designed,which proved that it was feasible to apply the embroidery patterns of yunnan minorities in jewelry design,and made jewelry design more expressive and cultural.The application of embroidery patterns of yunnan ethnic minorities in jewelry design,it is of great significance to inherit the embroidery culture of yunnan ethnic minorities and increase the cultural connotation of jewelry,so as to provide reference for the inheritance of yunnan ethnic minority culture,and to pay more attention to the embroidery patterns of yunnan ethnic minorities.
