The demand for gear shaper tools in the manufacturing industry continues to grow,and the special CNC grinder for gear shapers is the key equipment that determines the manufacturing accuracy and service life of gear shapers.Its processing accuracy and production efficiency directly affect the development of the gear industry.Due to the diversity of the layout of the grinder,there are large differences in the force of the transmission parts in different layouts,which leads to the instability of the grinding machine’s machining accuracy.How to choose the best positional relationship between the motion modules is an urgent problem to be solved.A method of modular product design and dynamic simulation verification is proposed to achieve the optimal design of the structure layout of the CNC grinder for gear shapers and to ensure the dynamic quality of the CNC grinder for gear shapers.Firstly,the geometric characteristics of the gear shaper was analyzed,and the motion requirements of the CNC grinding machine for gear shaper was determined,and the grinding path of the gear cutter that meets the requirements of accuracy and efficiency was obtained.the configuration of each drive chain to meet the grinding path of the gear cutter was clarified.By analyzingthe characteristics of various drive units,the drive method that can meet the accuracy requirements and reasonable cost was selected.The CNC grinding machine for gear cutters was determined according to the size of the workpiece to be ground.The main design parameters were determined according to the dimensions of the workpiece to be ground.Based on the modular design method,the modular division of the CNC grinding machine for gear shapers was completed,and the mapping relationship between the functional and structural modules was analyzed from the characteristics of the main motion module,and three linear motion axes and two rotary axes were divided.Secondly,the bearing capacity of each linear motion module shaft ball screw in the three schemes was calculated as a yardstick for evaluating the quality of the module reorganization structure;MATLAB software was used to design the mechanical calculation and evaluation GUI interface of the CNC grinding machine for gear shapers.To realize the input of parameters and the output of mechanical analysis results,by comparing the theoretical values of the three schemes,the best layout with the module quality was selected as the constraint and the balanced and small force as the goal.Finally,The mechanical structure of the CNC grinding machine for gear shaping was designed based on the layout structure selected from the results of the dynamics theory study.the dynamic simulation experiment was carried out on the motion module of the CNC grinding machine for gear shaper through the ADAMS analysis software.The simulation curve shows that during the process of grinding,the acceleration of the three linear motion modules remains the same when the speed is the highest,and the inertial force does not change.In the process of acceleration,the stress also tends to be stable,and the grinding machine has little affect on vibration.The machining quality is guaranteed,which is in line with the design requirements of the special CNC grinding machine for gear shaper.Based on the above,the rationality of the structure of the special CNC grinding machine for selecting gear shaper is verified.
