In this study,graphene oxide(GO)was prepared by improved Hummers method,and covalent bond modification was carried out with silane coupling agent to prepare functional graphene oxide(KH-GO).Quantitative and qualitative analysis of functional groups was conducted to prove the effectiveness of modification.Several groups of samples were prepared by latex blending method,and each group contained different fractions of KH-GO.Control experiments were designed to study the effects of different fractions of KH-GO on rubber vulcanization properties,mechanical properties and wear properties.The influence of KH-GO,temperature and speed on the wear and the wear mechanism are especially studied.1.The properties of rubber composites reinforced by KH-GO have been greatly improved.The performance of the sample KH-GO-1.5 is the best and the tensile strength is increased by 8%.The elongation at break increased by 11.7%;100% constant extension stress increased by 70.3%;300% constant extension stress increased by 15.6%;Shore hardness increased by 10.1%.The wear performance of the composites was also improved with the increase of the amount of KH-GO.The wear volume of the sample k H-GO-1.5 was the minimum value within the experimental range.2.Based on the improved Akron high temperature wear test rig,the wear volume of rubber under different conditions was measured.The effects of temperature,wear speed and KH-GO content on rubber wear volume were obtained by controlling a single variable.Temperature has a direct influence on rubber properties,so it has a great influence on the wear resistance of rubber.The wear volume of rubber will increase with the increase of temperature.In the experiment of speed variable,the minimum value within the experimental range is obtained under the condition that the rotate speed is50r/min(the wearing speed is 0.3925m/s),which shows that the speed is more suitable for long-term continuous operation.In the KH-GO variable experiment,the wear volume decreases with the increase of the amount of KH-GO,and the wear volume of the sample k H-GO-1.5 reaches the minimum and the wear performance is the best.3.The multifractal calculation program based on box dimension method in Matlab environment was used to analyze and calculate the micro-morphology of rubber wear surface.The relation curves of multifractal spectrum f(?)and singularity index ? under different wear conditions are obtained.The results are shown below: The ?-f(?)curves of rubber wear surface are mostly left hook convex functions.Spectral width ?? and spectrum difference ?f(?)represent the distribution of probability measure in the fractal structure difference degree and the difference of maximum and minimum probability of subset.?? and ?f(?)increases with the rise of temperature.The higher the wear temperature,the greater the spatial complexity of rubber wear surface and the stronger the spatial variability.In the rotation speed variable experiments,spectral width ?? and spectrum difference ?f(?)are minimum at 50r/min.With the increase of dosage of KHGO,spectral width ?? and spectrum difference ?f(?)decreases,the sample KH-GO-1.5has the best performance.The experimental results of multifractal spectrum are in good agreement with the analysis results of wear volume and roughness characteristics.A comprehensive evaluation system of rubber wear based on the wear volume,microsurface topography,surface roughness characteristic value and multi-fractal spectrum was proposed.
