Divine Bird Image In Shanhaijing And It’s Application In Fashion Design Menswear

"Shan Hai Jing" is the earliest book on ancient mythology in China.The contents recorded in the book are all-encompassing and full of imagination,fictional imagery and weirdness.In recent years,the elements in "Shan Hai Jing" have been widely used in film and television creation,illustration art,and art design,especially in the creativity and design of clothing and apparel design,as well as cultural creativity and product design influences.Through the analysis of the image of the bird in "Shan Hai Jing",this topic discriminates the concept,connotation and evolution of the bird "rosefinch".The process of the origin,formation of the image of rosefinch is sorted out in this paper.It systematically analyzes and summarizes the application form of the bird pattern,especially the rosefinch image in the costume design.The article is divided into four parts: First,it discusses the significance and expected value of the topic,discusses the existing results and weak links of the topic,and proposes research ideas.Secondly,it clarified the concept of the bird in "Shan Hai Jing" from the theoretical aspect,refined the image of rosefinch,summarized the typical elements of the rosefinch image,and laid the theoretical foundation for the subsequent creation of clothing and patterns.Then,through case analysis,it systematically demonstrated the application and transformation of rosefinch’s image characteristics in modern aesthetics,and focused on analyzing and summarizing the formal principle of rosefinch’s contemporary application in clothing,including embroidery,printing,collage,thermal transfer,and reconstruction.Finally,through design pattern,the rosefinch elements are fully combined with "fashion brand street men’s clothing",and the western cowboy style is combined with traditional Chinese design elements to create a series of "fashion brand street men’s clothing".The design has achieved the expected effect.By theoretical and practical research,the author believes that combining the re-creation of the rosefinch element of "Shan Hai Jing" with modern clothing is an innovative attempt and a collision of cultures of different times.This collision not only extends the application space of Chinese traditional elements,but also is a valuable attempt for contemporary clothing design innovation.In the design process,as long as the traditional elements can fit the clothing product,whether it is minimalist,or extremely complex,or street,it can collide with new ideas and forms,showing a novel and unique clothing style.
