The Research And Design Application Of Men’s "Guzang Clothing" At Baibei Distric,Guizhou Province

Miao is a very old ethnic group,it also plays an important role in China’s ethnic minorities.There are a lot of intangible cultural heritage、exquisite works of art and warm and generous ethnic culture.Baibei Miao village in Rongjiang County,Guizhou Province is known as the "open-air museum of Miao folk custom".There is a very important and special ancestor worship festival in Miao Ethnic Group Festival-the“GuZang" Festival.This festival has a mysterious historical origin,complex festival activities,special festival significance and countless precious resources.During the Guzang Festival,people wear costumes to show their longing for their ancestors.It takes two or three years to complete the exquisite workmanship.The Guzang clothing of the Miao Ethnic Group in XinhuaB aibei,Rongjiang,is the most representative.The upper part is a garment,and the lower part is a ribbon skirt.The clothing groups are connected,and the lower part of the skirt is decorated with white chicken feathers.Through summarizing the characteristics of the shape,technology,pattern and color matching of the "Guzang clothing" in the Baibei area,the available techniques and design elements are extracted and applied to the design of modern clothing.
