| The four seals on the costumes of the Miao people are the most distinctive symbols of the Miao people.This symbol is said to have been created during the migration process and has been preserved in order to preserve ethnic information,which is valuable historical information for the Miao people who have an ancient culture but no writing.The purpose of this paper is to study the dress costumes of the Siyin Miao women in Liuzhi Special Zone and to clarify the style,occasion and way of wearing the costumes by combining literature and field survey data,and to analyze the shape,production process,materials,colors and patterns of the costumes starting from the specific costume data collected,focusing on the systematic analysis of the patterns in terms of structural patterns,filling patterns and auxiliary patterns,analyzing the geometric patterns of the Siyin Miao.It is characterized by a high degree of symmetry,abstractness and concentration.By combining the costumes of Qinglong Siyin Miao,Qingzhen Siyin Miao,and other Miao tribes with similar origins and geographic proximity,we elaborate the traditions that have always been upheld by these tribes,and try to find out the inseparable cultural characteristics that have been inherited and preserved by the Siyin Miao,as well as the parts that have been influenced and changed by the cultural exchanges among the various ethnic tribes,thus discussing the aesthetics and values that have always been upheld by the Siyin Miao.Explain its deep sense of nostalgia and veneration for its ancestors. |
