A Study On The Development And Cultural Connotations Of The Geometric Patterns In The Costume Of The Han In Tang Dynasty And Before

This paper focuses on the development and cultural connotation of the geometric patterns in the costumes of the Han in the Tang Dynasty and before.Paper uses the case study,comparative study and other research methods,through analysis of the ancient Han Chinese clothing geometric patterns evolution,summarizes the characteristics of geometric patterns in every stage of the development,summing up the basic law of its development,and dig out the patterns behind the rich cultural connotation,not only provides the beneficial reference for contemporary,more important is to make the Chinese nation's traditional clothing patterns to carry forward,enduring.This paper is divided into five parts.In addition to the introduction,the second part is the theoretical foundation,which elaborates the traditional costumes of the Han ,the interpretation of culture,the function of the pattern and the relationship between the pattern and the cultural connotation respectively,which lays the theoretical foundation for the full test.The third part studies the development and evolution of geometric patterns from Shang to Sui and Tang dynasties.It is divided into five stages for discussion,and introduces the main types and characteristics of geometric patterns in each stage as well as the basic laws of the development and evolution of geometric patterns in the whole historical process.The fourth part studies the various conditions of geometric pattern evolution,from the economic and technical factors,social and historical factors and natural environment factors three aspects of analysis and discussion.The last part studies the cultural connotation contained in the geometric pattern.From the original worship consciousness,religious philosophy thought,the mark of hierarchy,the concept of humanistic fashion and the aesthetic taste of art and so on.
