The internal combustion engines(ICEs)are the core power equipments of marine navigation,the stability of the piston-cylinder liner system is a necessary guarantee for the high speed operation of the internal combustion engines.For this reason,it is much vital to improve the processing quality effectively of the cylinder liner surface,and the honing processing parameters need to be studied in depth.For meeting the requirements of sustainable low-carbon production and green manufacturing,carbon emissions need to be reduced during honing.In this thesis,the topology optimization method is employed to optimize the structure and reduce the weight of the oilstone component,and the particle swarm optimization(PSO)is used to optimize the micromorphology of abrasive particles of the oilstone.By establishing a multigrain grinding finite element model by ABAQUS software,the influence of honing processing parameters on grinding force,residual stress and grinding temperature is studied.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the characteristics of the surface honing of the cylinder liner,the solid isotropic microstructure with penalization(SIMP)method in the ABAQUS software is used to optimize the topological structure of the oilstone component,and the maximum stiffness is taken as objective function,which is constrained by the volume fraction.The optimized combination of the penalty factor and the grid size at a smaller volume ratio is obtained.(2)In order to reduce the carbon emission during the honing process,under the constraints of the removal volume and effective grinding area,the calculation optimization model of carbon emission is established according to the grinding behavior of the oilstone surface particles.The shape and distribution parameters of the particles on the surface of the oilstone are optimized by PSO method,and the factors affecting carbon emissions are analyzed.(3)The simulation model of multi abrasive grinding is established by ABAQUS software.Based on the optimized dimensional parameters of abrasive particles on the surface of oilstone,the influences of grinding parameters on grinding force,residual stress and temperature of workpiece are analyzed for various depths at different speeds.(4)The changes of workpiece and abrasive temperature in the grinding simulation are studied,combined with the temperature distribution at the section of the workpiece,the influence of honing processing parameters on the surface temperature of the workpiece are analyzed.Comparing with the measured roughness of the horning cylinder liner,the multi-grain grinding simulation model is validated.
