Diesel engines are widely used and at the core position of the industrial chain.The cylinder liner is the heart of an engine,belonging to the critical parts.Assembling the cylinder liners into cylinder holes at the top of cylinder body is to solve the contradiction between cost and service life.Assembling the cylinder liner which is made of high-level wear-resistance cast iron material into cylinder body,and the cylinder body could be made of cheap and common cast iron or light-weight aluminum alloy unsteadily.In this way,the service life is expended and the good materials are saved.Because of the effect of high-temperature and high-pressure fuel gas and the contact with high-speed running piston,the cylinder liner ID is easily worn.There are different structure forms of cylinder liners and surface treatment methods to improve wear-resistance and service life of cylinder.The structure forms of cylinder liners are divided into overhead type,central type and underneath type according to different positions of axial positioning.Requirements of low cost and light-weight have become the research direction of cylinder liner technology,and the application of central type cylinder liner is becoming more and more extensive.This paper mainly researches the processing flow of central type cylinder liners.Focusing on the special central type cylinder liner which combines the characteristics of both wet-type and dry-type cylinder liners,improve the clamping method and special fixture of critical process according to its structure characteristic.According to the designed process flow project,through the verification and improvement of casting mould structure,the process parameters of casting and machining,as well as the special fixture effects to critical process are verified.The tracing verification of the control standard in the established process is carried out.Through the small batch of trial production,the rough casting quality can meet the requirements,and the machining quality of all the processes can meet the controlling standard of the established processes.The machining quality of the critical processes is stable,and the service life of tools and fixtures can meet the requirements.The quality of the finished products is stable.
