The cylinder liner is the important part of the engine.The cylinder liner hole size accuracy,geometrical accuracy and surface cross hatch quality are important factors affecting the performance of the engine.The platform grain honing technology is one of the advanced processing technologies to improve the precision of cylinder liner hole and the quality of surface cross hatch.It can improve the performance of the engine,especially reduce the cylinder liner wear and oil consumption of the engine Therefore,it is determined to implement the platform grain honing on the new cylinder liner,In order to implement the honing technology of the platform,In this paper,starting from the design of new machining line of cylinder liner,the principle and the honing technology and equipment of the research platform are studied.In the end,the research and implementation of this subject are conducted through the honing process test and verification method.The main research work in this paper is as follows:According to the cylinder liner structure,design,technical requirements,analysis of the former cylinder liner processing technology,production program requirements and layout of the cylinder liner professional manufacturers at home and abroad process,determine the overall design new type of cylinder liner processing line,studied the key working procedure in detail from equipment selection,selection of cutting tool and machining process parameters,the process of fixture design.The technical parameters of honing machine and the function of equipment accessories are studied.The structure of honing head,the principle of oil stone selection,the working principle of on-line self-measuring pneumatic momentum meter,the design principle of honing fixture and the structure of the fixture are studied.The effects of abrasive grains,materials and honing pressure on the quality of reticulated grooves were studied.This paper studies the meaning of the platform reticulation parameters,and the method of detecting and evaluating the quality of the platform reticulation.By means of honing test,the grinding parameters,honing processing parameters,working pressure and asphalt abrasives are adjusted to match the platform grinding pattern suitable for the engine’s usability.The wear resistance and oil consumption of the platform grinding cylinder liner are verified by the method of test verification.In this paper,the process optimization of cylinder hole of cylinder liner has been successfully realized,and finally,The platform grain honing technology has been realized.It has got rid of the backward processing line and the backward honing process,improved the product quality,improved the performance of the engine by one step,and had a profound influence on the use of the engine.
