The Application And Research Of Wabi-sabi Aesthetics In Unisex Fashion

Wabi-sabi aesthetics originated in Japan.The concept of respecting nature and embracing the beauty of impermanence were spread and developed through tea ceremony.Unisex fashion originated in the west,pursuing to show the true self under the constraint of gender.The combination of wabi-sabi aesthetics and unisex fashion presents a sense of naturalness,subtlety,and rebellion in fashion.With the diversified development of the domestic market and the popularization of the fashion concept of light life,the wabi-sabi aesthetics that advocates nature and unisex fashion that pursues the id has gradually entered the public eye from a niche aesthetic.The combination of wabi-Sabi aesthetics and unisex fashion represents the collision of primitive art and modern ideas,bringing a new form of expression to fashion design.This paper first analyzes the related research on wabi-sabi aesthetics and unisex fashion,and expounds the concepts and historical development of the two.The article combines relevant excellent design cases at home and abroad and summarizes the manifestations of wabi-sabi aesthetics and genderless style in clothing design.It further explores the application of wabi-Sabi aesthetics in unisex fashion,and finally starts from the four aspects of clothing silhouette,color,fabric and craftsmanship in order to analyze the reasonable combination of wabi-sabi aesthetics and unisex fashion.This laid the theoretical foundation and practical basis for the final design practice.In the final design,the author has a deep understanding of the wabi-sabi aesthetics and unisex fashion based on the results of the previous analysis and uses a modern way to design to show the ingenious fusion of the beauty,simplicity,impermanence of nature in the wabi-sabi aesthetics and fearlessness in unisex fashion to present another unique form of artistic expression.Through the above analysis and final design practice,this article clarifies the specific application methods of wabi-sabi aesthetics in unisex fashion design.It is in order to enrich the manifestations of fashion design and provide rationale and design reference for future related cases.
