Style Research On Wabi-Sabi Aesthetic In Modern Dlosing Design

This paper mainly discusses the application of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics in modern clothing design.Through case analysis of some clothing designers and clothing design brands,this paper summarizes forms of expression,feature analysis and design elements of Wabi-Sabi aesthetic style clothing,so as to provide better service for clothing designers.Firstly,this paper explores the origin and connotation of Wabi-Sabi and its development in Japan under the influence of Zen.Then this paper introduces the product of the fusion of Zen and Japanese art,namely Wabi-Sabi aesthetics.It analyzes the meaning of Wabi-Sabi and how Wabi-Sabi aesthetics came into being,and sums up four ideological characteristics of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics,which are the aesthetic thoughts centered on "simplicity,awkwardness,plainness,and concealment".This paper also points out that Wabi-Sabi aesthetics has many connections with modern people’s lives.Through the analysis of some design cases,it is found that Wabi-Sabi aesthetics has a certain aesthetic style influence on modern design,thus it deduces the influence of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics on clothing design.Secondly,through a large amount of literature and information,as well as the combination of pictures and texts,this paper explores the five different external manifestations of the application of Wabi-Sabi aesthetic style in modern clothing design,and analyzes these five different manifestations,and concludes the characteristics of Wabi-Sabi aesthetic style in clothing design.It uses domestic and foreign clothing brands with Wabi-Sabi aesthetic styles as case support,analyzes and researches from three aspects,such as modeling structure,clothing color and fabric materials,and summarizes the inner design elements of clothing with Wabi-Sabi aesthetic style.These conclusions provide a certain reference value for how to better use Wabi-Sabi aesthetic style in modern clothing design,which is the focus of this paper.Finally,this paper brings Wabi-Sabi aesthetic style design elements into the practice of closing design,conducts design simulation,compares and summarizes the results of design practice with the previous contents,and discusses how a closing designer in the new era grasp Wabi-Sabi aesthetic concept,how to convey the spiritual culture through clothing design and rationally apply it to clothing design,which provides certain ideas and inspiration for clothing designers of China.
