| Wabi-Sabi originates from Japanese teaism's culture.Its design performance,Zen thought and inner spiritual orientation in teaism are of great value and significance to current social life,design art and cultural economy.This paper explains the concept,history and causes of Wabi-Sabi,and studies and analyses the traditional and modern forms of Wabi-Sabi's design,such as ceramics,interior design and architectural design.And makes a comparative analysis of their manifestations and fashion design;then uses a large number of cases to analyze the principles and forms of Wabi-Sabi in fashion design,as well as the artistic conception of Wabi-Sabi's design has been deeply analyzed and demonstrated.The famous contemporary fashion designers with Wabi-Sabi's style at home and abroad are Yohji Yamamoto,Make and Uma Wang whose design cases have been cited and analyzed from the aspects of fashion design concept,fabric research and development,structure technology and color pattern respectively.Finally,the article elaborates the role and influence of society and the current situation and prospects of fashion design.Compared with other fashions,Wabi-Sabi's fashion design not only has a unique external form of expression,but also brings to the public a genuine and quiet cultural reflection that differs from the current trend and the internal spirit of fashion design concept. |
