Natural gas is a kind of clean energy,and it has been regarded as a substitute for traditional fossil fuel.At present,natural gas industry has been widely developed worldwide.The management of natural gas operating companies plays an important role in the future survival and development of enterprises.LZSQ is a company who works in natural gas industry which is a new energy field.The grass-roots staff account for a large proportion in this company,and the satisfaction of the employees has a big impact on the development of the company.Based on the existing classical theories of employee satisfaction,this paper analyzes the characteristics of different theories in detail.According to the theory analysis and actual situation of the company,we designed a survey questionnaire to evaluate the employee satisfaction in LZSQ company.This paper makes an objective and comprehensive analysis of employee satisfaction from eight aspects: work itself,work environment,colleague relationship,leadership,company system,salary and welfare,employee training and employee promotion.The results show that the satisfaction is on the medium level.The employees don not satisfy with their salary and the leadership.The research also finds that staff in different sex,age,education background,position and years of working in the company show different results on satisfaction,especially on salary & welfare,employee training,promotion.Based on the results,the reasons are studied.It is found that the main reasons are as follows:(1)More work pressure;(2)Weak cooperation ability of colleagues;(3)The working style of the leadership needs to be improved;(4)Narrow promotion channels;(5)The company’s system is old and its execution is insufficient;(6)The relationship between colleagues is harmonious,but the corporate culture has not yet been formed;(7)Inadequate pay and benefits measures;(8)Lack of support for staff ability improvement.Some suggestions were given to improve the employee satisfaction in LZSQ company.The questionnaire survey in LZSQ were conducted base on the theory study,and the results of the survey were analyzed.Based on the results,some suggestions were given.These suggestions would be helpful to improve the employee satisfaction,the work enthusiastic and efficiency would be promoted.The company’s competitiveness in the industry would also be enhances. |
